“My message today is to plead for an end to the bombing of innocent families, their homes, and especially the little children who make up half the number of the those who have been killed,. That was Yusuf Islam, the British recording artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, known for hits such as “Morning has Broken.” Islam was addressing the “Great Palestine Meeting,” a massive pro-Hamas rally in Istanbul last Saturday.
“One hundred years have passed, and Turkey is now stronger than ever,” Islam told the cheering crowd. “Before this we had 600 years as the ultimate empire, and when Jerusalem was under your wings, it had peace for 400 years. Allahu Akbar. I say thank you to the people of Turkey and the leadership of Turkey, for taking the right stand on this issue, while many other countries, especially the so-called international community, is falling on the wrong side of justice, even assisting this genocide which we are witnessing.”
And so on from the former Cat Stevens, born Steven Demetre Georgiou in London in 1948, and who attributes his conversion to a reading of the Quran. “Islam is perfect,” the singer explains, “and if we imitate the conduct of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) we will be successful.” Yusef Islam was successful at supporting the Iranian fatwa on Salman Rushdie.
The Satanic Verses author, “must be killed,” Islam said. “The Koran carries the death sentence. If someone defames the prophet, then he must die.” Remember, according to the recording artist, “Islam is perfect.” In 2020, Islam claimed, “I never supported the fatwa.” In 2001, he denounced the “indiscriminate terrorist attacks,” of 9/11, hoping to “reflect the feelings of all Muslims and people around the world,” but there was more to it.
In 2004, the United States deported Yusuf Islam after he was found on a “watch list” because of “known associations and financial support to organizations believed to be aiding terrorism.” According to intelligence reports, Islam had given money to Hamas. For Yusef Islam, supporter of the “ultimate empire,” these terrorists can do no wrong. Their atrocities are coming to light as Israel attempts to identify the bodies.
The Hamas invaders, “went from house to house burning family after family,” explains Col. Rabbi Haim Weisberg, head of the army’s rabbinic division. “We are seeing trucks still arriving filled with body bags that contain whole families – grandparents, mothers, fathers, and even little children are being brought down from the trucks.”
In one case, the remains were so badly burned that only a CT scan revealed it was actually a mother and baby bound together in a deep embrace. In another, Weisberg told reporters, a pregnant woman was cut open, the fetus pulled out and beheaded, with the umbilical cord still attached.
According to a volunteer named Shari, women arrived with their heads blown off, and bodies bobby-trapped with grenades. There was also evidence of rape, with broken pelvises, even “among grandmothers down to small children.” Other volunteers told CNN the victims included “whole families, little children, babies, even pregnant women, and that their bodies were found in a horrific state – mutilated and burnt.”
According to the former recording star Cat Stevens, under Islam “the protection of women and children and non-combatants is fundamental” – unless the women and children happen to be Jews. When he sang, “For they are burying the little ones,” Yusuf Islam wasn’t talking about Jewish children. It is also significant that he dialed it back “100 years.”
Turkey was coming off the genocide of the Armenians, with more than one million dead. That caught the attention of Adolf Hitler, whose hatred of Jews inspired the Palestinian movement. Yusuf Islam neglected to mention that during the “ultimate empire,” when Jerusalem was under Turkish “wings,” there was no movement for a Palestinian nation. There is now, but as the Hamas covenant makes clear, it’s really about denying Israel’s right to exist, and denying Jews everywhere their right to life.
Jeremy Stern calls it a fascist death cult,” and as David Horowitz explains, we are now witnessing “the worst massacre of Jews for being Jews since the Holocaust.” Recording artist Cat Stevens, now known as Yusuf Islam, is okay with it. On American college campuses, his “Ultimate Empire” tour would doubtless draw cheering crowds.
I guess “Peace Train” now means cattle cars full of Jews – again.

“In Islam the protection of women and children and non-combatants is fundamental.” The snake assumes we are ignorant about how Islam views who are actually “innocent” people entitled to protection (no one in Israel, ultimately, no kaffir not “protected” from “convert or die” by a dhimmi pact or temporary treaty). Muhammad spoke about killing women and children in war, he said “they are among them”, i.e. killing them is permissible. Not to mention, they are the “booty”, the “spoils of war” for the warriors (rapist-murderers) of Islam. Not to mention terrorizing the enemies of Islam (and their women, children, and non-combatants), striking terror in their hearts, has been fundamental Islam since Muhammad decided he had been “victorious with terror”. The Peace Train is now the Terror Train.

It will come as no surprise that he was an idiot long before he came to the religion of peace. This was the “entertainer,” after all, who dedicated an album of songs, “Mona Bona Jakon” to his schlong.

You can’t start a war and then complain that the sides are not equal? What did they expect they were starting, a pillow fight?

The Hamas youths who invaded Israel and committed mass ,barbaric atrocities and acts of degenerate sexual deviancy were also at one time Palestinian children. The Arab kids being blown to bits now will be raised in the same Jew hating culture with a longing to commit genocide against Jews on a global scale. Besides the absurdity of expecting “proportional response” to an attack, this statement is just false. I live in Israel, and for the past month, Hamas has been raining down missiles with explosives on densely populated civilian areas, including Tel Aviv. Only because of a combination of very expensive Israeli anti-missile defense and plain miracles has there not been a huge death toll from these continuing attacks.
I too was a fan of Cat Stevens in my youth, but now he serves as a perfect example of a mindless celebrity (to put it very kindly.)
