In a series of massive precision strikes, the Israeli Air Force struck vital targets across Iran, hitting nuclear and missile facilities in response to Iran’s breakout time to a nuclear weapon approaching imminence.
The Israelis had given the process time to work, but no more results than had been the case for two decades. It had become abundantly clear that there was only one country willing to take action to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and once again Israel stepped up, fusing conventional strikes with the kind of deep intelligence targeting that had enabled it to cripple Hezbollah.
The operation, dubbed ‘Rising Lion’, reportedly struck 100 targets in the first wave, and more are coming.
Israeli’s targets included nuclear assets, ballistic missile development, nuclear scientists and top figures in Iran’s terrorist IRGC machine which arguably really runs Iran.
It’s a game changer that comes even as much of the world had accepted an Iranian bomb as inevitable.
Iran’s nuclear program isn’t gone, but if Israel did what it intended to, then it has been significantly delayed. The Islamic terror state had dispersed and buried as much of its program as it could, but Israel proved it could not only target facilities, but individuals, deep in enemy territory, not just one or two as before, but many on a larger scale.
It’s a game changer
It’s an A plus if you ask me.
Syria and Lebanon have been largely removed as Iranian proxy threats, Saudis, Jordan and the Gulf States are on board with isolating Iran and destroying its ambitions. Trade deal struck with China, who doesn’t want any disruptions in Iranian oil since they are the main buyers. Notice that Israel did not strike refineries- this was a carve out given to China. China will pressure Iran to keep retaliation to a minimum and negotiate. Iran is pretty boxed in at this point.
Who let the dogs out?!
President Trump said all along Iran will not be allowed to make nuclear weapons. He is not bluffing.
“Israel Strikes Iran’s Terror and Nuclear Program…Gamechanger.” Israel’s strikes are long overdue and fully justified. The Iranian leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei has no intention of ever termination his nuclear bomb ambitions. However, these current strikes by Israel against the Iranian nuclear sites, ballistic missile systems, radar sites, and IRGC facilities will only buy maybe a 1-2 year reprieve from the Iranian atomic bomb threat. Israel has no deep penetrating bomb capability nor a platform to deliver it. These would be too costly to Israel to obtain from the US and maintain. Only the US has the deep penetration bomb GBU-57A/B or MOP that weighs in at 30,000 lbs and can only be delivered by the B-52H and the B-2 bombers. Only the B-2 can penetrate the Iranian radar system. Only the US can provide the permanent solution to Iran’s nuclear bomb ambitions. But Israel’s actions are needed and will send Iran a message that something more powerful can still be delivered to the Ayatollahs. Iran will reconstiute its nuclear program at extreme risk to its regime.
