Amazing what happens with a plane to Martha’s Vineyard and overloading the shelter systems of NYC, Chicago and D.C.
Now, this doesn’t change anything significant. But it’s the first time the Biden administration has actually at least appeared to bend the arc of border policy toward enforcement instead of open borders. And there’s only two possible reasons for this phenomenon.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday it will begin expelling illegal immigrants from Venezuela who enter the country from the southern border to Mexico by expanding a Trump-era policy.
In addition to the new push to deport illegal immigrants from Venezuela, which comes through the Trump-era Title 42 policy, the department also unveiled a program that will enable up to 24,000 Venezuelans to get work authorizations to reside in the United States for up to two years.
As usual, it’s one step forward, two steps back, but it’s also the first time the administration has done anything that even resembles border security, instead of lying about and smearing border patrol agents.
“Effective immediately, Venezuelans who enter the United States between ports of entry, without authorization, will be returned to Mexico. At the same time, the United States and Mexico are reinforcing their coordinated enforcement operations to target human smuggling organizations and bring them to justice,” the department announced.
That’s also timed for the growing proportion of cartel members and imprisoned criminals released by the regime and sent north. Don’t expect this policy to last past the midterms.
Biden is, at best, buying a little time for his party in the midterms. At worst, it’s a feint for actually expanding open borders. I’d bet on the second ahead of the first.
But I doubt we’d be here if blue cities hadn’t been feeling some of the pain.

The pain of the blue cities is undoubtedly responsible. The illegal alien numbers in those blue cities were MINISCULE compared to what border states endure.

Since the democrats don’t feel the pain of the policies they enact, they will only do more of what hurts the nation and enriches themselves.
Mythology, fantasy, religious belief, magical thinking, faith and unreason, eventually crash and burn against the facts of reality.
The mystical elite, the priests, the rabbis, the imams, the shamans, the theologians, the pseudo-intellectuals, the pseudo-scientists, the anti-reason philosophers, will continue with their mysticism, fantasies, and pseudo-science so long as they are comfortably sheltered in their Ivory Towers, Upper-East and West apartments, and Martha’s Vineyard mansions protected from the consequences of their unreason.
But not all of them, some really are nihilists, and death and destruction are their explicit goal. Like Nero burning Rome or Iago luring Othello to his destruction simply out of hatred of the good being the good.

What precisely do you mean? When have men using actual reason, actual logic, and actual science to arrive at the facts of reality and not a religious or mystical fantasy, arrived at the conclusion that society should be ruled by FORCE, fraud, lies, and deception by a priesthood or a ruling class?
The French Terror? The French Terror wasn’t based on reason but on irrational lunatics deceiving themselves that they were following reason and being rational. Just as today you have tyrants and fools following the “rational” science of Climate Change, Green Energy, and the “rational” science of Covid-19 tyranny.

The “French Terror” as well as the “Russian Terror” and the “Sino Terror” and the “Nazi Terror” and any other “Terror” were ALL founded on Rationalism base, which excludes the God of creation. Yes, it also includes certain, so called, “Christian Terrors” based on clearly nonbiblical doctrines, or pure power grabs that have nothing to do with the teachings of Scripture.
Right! Christianity is really a religion of freedom, liberty, individualism, the pursuit of happiness, and capitalism. It just keeps getting hijacked by evil men, like Islam.

If Wisconsin had a Republican governor like DeSantis he could start exporting Afghanis by the thousands into places like Martha’s Vineyard. What an uproar that would cause when people looked out on their beachfront and grown men were defecating and then wiping with their fingers, while others were trying to seduce little boys. Maybe their first destination should be Delaware.
