The French have voted in the left and blocked Marine Le Pen’s path to power. Have the French signed their own death warrant?
The left has won the second round and overall voting in France. While Marine Le Pen’s rightist National Rally had its best showing to date, it came in third, behind the left and Macron’s pseudo-centrist parties. What have the French brought upon themselves and why?
Across the Channel, the British voters gave Labor a massive victory over the reeling Tories and upstart Reform. Mark Steyn defined a conservative as one who adopts leftist policies ten years after the liberals. And thus, fourteen years of Tory rule were not dedicated to making Brexit a ringing success or controlling immigration. Rather, the various Tory leaders who came and went focused on climate change, on massaging ever greater illegal immigration, as well as the downsizing of the armed forces to the point where England could fight Tasmania and it would probably be a draw. The vaunted British Navy went years without any aircraft carrier, and now that two new ones have been built, they often do not work. The fall of the Tories is the work of their own hands. They were given years to enact a pro-UK, pro-business agenda and instead monitored Facebook posts for anti-trans content and forced people to buy expensive and inefficient heat pumps.
But what happened in France? I heard a few clips of the younger Le Pen. She said point-blank that anyone was welcome in France, but that he or she would have to accept the French way and become a part of the local culture. She would ban Salafism and imams who preached hate. This does not sound like some type of revolutionary, Hitlerian program. The French were always culturally proud and culture snobs. One could go to Paris and not find anyone who spoke English, because French was the language and one needed nothing else. The French were appalled by English words entering their lexicon and were proud of their history, their food, and their way of life. How many thousands of Resistance fighters lost their lives trying to rid the country of the Nazi scourge? 50,000 Frenchmen were killed by Allied bombing directed at the same goal. It was de Gaulle’s men who were put at the front of the line to enter Paris first. French pride easily became French chauvinism, but it all pointed to an incredible love of the French people for their country, culture, and history. It is only during the past decade or so that Michelin has ventured outside of France to look for superior dining options.
The rise of the left means more uncontrolled immigration. It means even less effort to integrate Muslims into the fabric of French society. And that is a point that needs to be emphasized. A conservative couldn’t care less what a French person looks like: black, brown, white, etc. But that person should have fidelity to France as his or her country and a respect for the local culture and ways. The problem occurs when a large percentage of immigrants simply bring Islamabad or Kabul with them and not only refuse to become part of the local fabric but actively look down upon their hosts and threaten to take over their new countries via Sharia law. My father used to chuckle to himself when he spoke to second-generation Turks in Germany. Their German was flawless and they were German citizens. He laughed because he grew up in 1930s Germany, when the “master race” would have looked at Turks or any non-Aryans as impure and defective. Thus, he was happy to see Germans who were Turkish rather than Germanic. Based on the recent rioting by ethnic Turks in Berlin over the Netherlands defeating Turkey in the EURO24, today’s Germans might not be laughing so much.
Whereas the Netherlands, Poland, and Hungary have voted for leaders who stress the importance of the local culture and tradition, and in parallel, control over immigration, England, France and other EU states are more than happy to commit cultural suicide in the name of social justice or reparations or whatever reason is put forward for allowing uncontrolled and unaccountable immigration. In the US, pro-Hamas rioters burned American flags in several cities on the 4th of July. So much for showing appreciation. The larger immigration cohort from South America and Mexico is making the poorest areas of New York unlivable. Picture if you gave your kids’ bedrooms to strangers and told your own to sleep in the car in the garage. Now do they understand why Donald Trump’s popularity is higher than it has ever been?
As France takes in more and more immigrants who hate the locals, their religion and their culture, and as these immigrants out-reproduce the locals 2:1 or 3:1, France’s future is to become one more Islamic country. Ditto for Sweden and probably England as well. The politicians who wish to put a lid on immigration and work to promote the local culture either keep losing elections or squander their time in power. The proper model should be that of the Gurkhas, a group of 4,000 of England’s finest soldiers, all of them from Nepal. They are recruited locally and then brought to England for education and training. There are no better soldiers in the King’s army than the Gurkhas. Over a dozen have received the Victoria Cross, England’s highest decoration for valor or gallantry.
Democracies are rarely defeated in battle; they usually destroy themselves from within by forgetting what made them successful, cohesive and strong in the first place. The French want more immigrants who hate them, just as the Biden White House actively wants more immigrants who are destroying US communities and causing increased crime and higher rents. Maybe living here in Israel for over 30 years has made me appreciate how incredible the US is. Clearly, those on the left don’t see it worth preserving and are always babbling on about making fundamental transformations to what was an amazing country. Joe Biden might be comatose, but the American people who see and feel inflation, more crime, an open border, and the US standing in the world going downhill are voting with their feet and supporting Donald Trump. They are not interested in committing cultural suicide a la France.
Incidentally…in Frederick Forsyth’s memoir THE OUTSIDER he recalls a post-WW-II hitchhiking trip he took with a teen pal through France. In northern France they displayed Union Jack flags on their backpacks, and French drivers would enthusiastically stop and give them rides, grateful for the English hand that saved them from the Nazis.
But in southern France (still with their English flags displayed) no drivers stopped.
France is attractive to Arabs. The French don’t use deodorant. ~

There was a recent article on PJ Media by Robert Spencer about Sweden being more law-abiding in summer because all the desperate refugees and asylum seekers go back to the countries they were allegedly trying to escape on vacation. To my way of thinking, doing this should result in automatic revocation of asylum seeker or refugee status, because clearly their country of birth isn’t uninhabitable after all, it’s only that they want the jizya, a.k.a. welfare benefits.

The Soviet Dictatorship was a white society with no white guilt, Nazi Germany was a white society with no white guilt, would you want to live in those societies?
Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia would both have accepted non-whites who aligned with the ruling ideology. Hitler was friends with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, because they were both rabid anti-Semites. And the USSR included states which were more Asian than Slavic.
The capacity for guilt is given to us so that we can recognise our own need for change, not so that we can be locked into a permanent cycle of expiatory over-compensation and enabling in response to what our ancestors may have done. This means that we need holistic evaluation of the past, in which we recognise the good things that have happened as well as the bad ones. For example, there were many things that the British did in India that were clearly wrong – but abolishing suttee was good, and I have yet to hear of anyone demanding that this authentic Hindu practice be reinstated.
We are still a predominantly white society with a lot of white guilt created by white guilt, perpetrated by minorities.
Personally I would like to live in a white society without the baggage of totalitarianism, which is what your philosophy entails.

Most people do not want to be bothered by government and consequently ignore what is going on until it is at critical mass or too late. Our governmental Puritan class has always taken their lead from England because of their social snobbery.
If you go back to the global warming scam, you will see it was active in England before the US. The same applies to sexual deviance, hate speech and immigration. All that is necessary to see our future is to look across the pond.

If you want to understand a countries policies think money and power. Ethics sometimes plays a role but usually it is secondary to power. That may seem contradictory as France’s policies have weakened France and made it more and more Islamist. The two paragraphs below are specially relevant to explaining the suicidal immigration policies of France.

One can’t help but wonder what deals American leftists. may have made. The big change in immigration with the U.S. started with the immigration and Nationality act pushed by Edward (Ted) Kennedy. I don’t think he did that for Arab money because I think he was pro-Israel. Maybe it’s a case of the road to hell being paved with good intentions. On the other hand he may have been aware that immigrants from Arab countries would be more likely to vote Democrat.

(more Americans are buried in France than any other foreign country) Anyway, was it to free France so they could be taken over by something more evil than the Nazis? The reason why Europe, esp France, continues moving Far Left, is rooted in anti Christian bigotry. Some say that is why Leftists won French elections. Atheism seems rampant now and the results will be horrific in most (not all) western nations.
