Biden or rather those around him are doing as much damage as they can on the way out the door. After freeing Al Qaeda terrorists from Gitmo, then commuting the sentences of child killers, cop-killers and a whole lot of monsters, including some of the worst fraudsters in the country, Biden moved on to some other pardons.
I wrote earlier about the push to get a pardon for the long-dead ‘provisional president of Africa’.
Marcus Garvey had allied with the KKK, admired Hitler, told his followers to read Mein Kampf and declared, “what the Negro needs is a Hitler.”
It also does not mention that Garvey had himself in mind for the job, that the self-proclaimed “Provisional President of Africa” wore imaginary military uniforms and sent his thugs to beat up black civil rights leaders before being expelled in disgrace after defrauding his followers.
Or that the charges of mail fraud that 21 House Democrats want to exonerate Garvey from were brought at the urging of black civil rights leaders of the day who demanded federal intervention.
Garvey argued, “between the Klu Klux Klan and the NAACP group, give me the Klan” and said, “you may call me a Klansman if you will.” He claimed “we were the first Fascists” and that, “Mussolini and Hitler copied the programme of the UNIA.”
And what’s left of the Biden administration is good with that.
The Biden White House described Garvey, who influenced Malcolm X, as “a renowned civil rights and human rights leader who was convicted of mail fraud in 1923, and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment.”
Former President Calvin Coolidge commuted his sentence in 1927. “Notably, Mr. Garvey created the Black Star Line, the first Black-owned shipping line and method of international travel, and founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association, which celebrated African history and culture. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. described Mr. Garvey as ‘the first man of color in the history of the United States to lead and develop a mass movement’,” the White House said. “Advocates and lawmakers praise his global advocacy and impact, and highlight the injustice underlying his criminal conviction.”
They don’t really like discussing his love for Hitler and the KKK. But then again Dems don’t either.
Is Biden the Blunder going to Pardon the infamous Alger Hiss? or Benedict Arnold? Maybe the Rosenbergs
If I remember right, the Black Star Line was a shady, mismanaged, & fraudulent shipping company that collapsed in a few years.
I love this story. Too bad more people aren’t commenting on it. Oh well 🙂
