A whole lot of problems from wildfires to crime to mental illness have been blamed on somebody named ‘Climate Change’.
Global Warming to Increase Violent Crime in the United States – People in the United States could see tens of thousands of extra violent crimes every year—because of climate change alone. UC Boulder

Scientists explain the factors that caused the Oak Fire to explode so suddenly – ABC News
The factors turned out to indeed be climate change. And climate change turned out to be a 71-year-old guy named Ed.
A 71-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly starting a devastating massive forest fire in Yosemite National Park that was previously thought to have been caused by climate change.
Edward Fredrick Wackerman of Mariposa, Calif., was busted Friday on suspicion of arson for allegedly igniting the Oak Fire, which destroyed 127 homes, caused thousands of people to evacuate and ravaged nearly 20,000 acres of vegetation in July 2022.
Good news, folks. We can stop raising taxes, banning cars and sending EPA SWAT teams to people’s homes for trying to fill in swamps on their own land.
Climate change has been caught and is behind bars. We can breathe easy and Al Gore can get a real job.
roberta says
The political class is getting hyper rich off of this climate scam. They can use climate change to sort of fill in the gaps of their portfolios between our endless wars.
How much have they made off of our truly endless war—-The War on Poverty—-?
Right in front of the peoples faces (and they see nothing?)
Ugly Sid says
Where’s my reply?
I made a counter offer.

Please tell us he is a Republican with a low NRA membership number.
Anticommie says
Nah, he’s your religion’s god.
Ugly Sid says
My religion? Can you expand that slightly?
Ugly Sid says
FWIW, I joined the NRA in the Summer of 1960.
Lightbringer says
Wow. What took you so long?
//sarc//
Algorithmic Analyst says
Our dear Sid was being sarcastic.
Just Sayin says
Ahem. Ed’s political contributions – https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=Ed+Wackerman&contributor_name=Edward+Wackerman
Algorithmic Analyst says
A Democrat donor
Lightbringer says
You got a lot of downvotes when you forgot to add the “sarc” tag to your clever post.
CowboyUp says
There were some big LA hills fires a few years back that were obviously set by humans. They formed an arc around LA. This single old guy is just a scapegoat. He’ll be let out of prison early, for his age and decrepitude.
Algorithmic Analyst says
Most of the big wildfires around here (Northern California) were due to humans or lightning.
Kasandra says
But I’m sure climate change drove the humans to it and caused the lightning, right?
Anticommie says
All are made possible by poor forest management demanded by the same anti-science, climate change religious zealots.
Ugly Sid says
What religion?
Have you been consuming mushrooms?
As a favor to the readership, please sober up before posting.
CowboyUp says
I think he may have been speaking of the gaia religion on this one.
Gordon says
And this whole time I thought it was my refusal to get jabbed that caused the fires. I’m so relieved.
Algorithmic Analyst says
There is so much imprecision or uncertainty or inaccuracy about the climate data it is hard to see how one can deduce such a grand theory. I was thinking about some monitoring stations I used to walk by, which were set up in a public park, where any street criminal can vandalize them.
CowboyUp says
A few decades back someone took photos of the placement of these monitoring stations. Many were in places guaranteed to have elevated temperature readings, like next to AC condensers, on airport tarmacs, and in the middle of asphalt parking lots.
Algorithmic Analyst says
Exactly. Thanks Cowboy!
TruthLaser says
Numerous stations were in place before those heat retaining and producing items were added. That made temperatures appear to be rising.
Spacewarp says
If you look at the data, the locations of slightly over 40% of the new monitoring stations in the US from 1990 to 2015 literally were across 5 states. Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Florida. So, that means that 40% of stations were in the hottest states, meaning the average temperature went up because they were measuring warmer.
It’s a scam folks.
Neal says
But there is absolute certainty among political scientists, which is why need to draw a line between science & political science.
TruthLaser says
Yes, but politicians cover the line with money.
Lightbringer says
Political science is no more a science than climate science or astrology.
VietVetinOhio says
The locations are problematic. Years ago, the stations were in open areas. Then cities were built up around them and they were not relocated to areas of less population.
J Stone says
Roger Revelle (who while at Harvard, gave Al Gore a “D” in earth sciences) in his article “look before you leap”, said the same thing 30 years ago. Revelle didn’t trust any of the computers as that they were incomplete and couldn’t possibly cover all of the variables.
Algorithmic Analyst says
When I was in school fluid dynamics at the level of world climate was considered mathematically intractable or computationally intractable for foreseeable generations of computers or something like that 🙂
CowboyUp says
On top of that, they can neither predict vulcanism, nor measure the output of small volcanic vents. And they can do nothing about it, solar output, or plate tectonics. They have no way of determining the biggest variables, even after the fact. GIGO.
Horace Yo says
“Climate Change” is code words for Tyrannical Dictatorship.
Tex the Mockingbird says
Man Caused but not Climate Caused this will bee blow to the Climate Alarmists screwballs
Mondak says
No; they just ignore anything that contradicts them, and the MSM are ordered not to report anything except the narrative.
Chief Mac says
Or Pacific Gas & Electric and yes I work in the electrical generation/transmission/distribution field as SCADA Engineer
VietVetinOhio says
You mean the forests that were not properly maintained and partially harvested, and the ground vegetation was not kept at bay?
Chief Mac says
Yup and PG&E refused to clear their lines even though they collected revenue for that exact purpose for decades. They didn’t do any clearing for tens years in a row and then gave the money to the shareholders illegally
danknight says
All of you are wrong … and Greenfield gave us the answer years ago …
… It’s really my fault.
… My white skin emits Crazy Rays …
… and those Crazy Rays cause forest fires … and everything else …
My Crazy Rays are omniscient …
… but unfortunately I’m just a knuckle dragging redneck and I’m too stupid to turn them off.
Y’all have my apologies …
😉
Lightbringer says
Good one, Dan. All of us with white skin should be ashamed of our transmission of Crazy Rays, which Science(tm) says cause forest fires, COVID, globull warming, and attacks by rabid skunks.
RLABruce says
The only thing wrong with the article is to say Al Gore can get a real job. No he can’t; he isn’t qualified for a real job of ANY kind. You’d have to teach him which end of a broom to hold.
J Stone says
Roger Revelle gave Al Gore a “D’ in earth sciences at Harvard. That’s how qualified he is to talk about Climate Change.
jfhdsiu says
We NEED “climate” to change! Regularly. Constantly. Without fail. Life will cease to exist otherwise. The kind of ‘climate change’ that Nature provides so routinely and evens out so smoothly over time. Mankind is too dumb and stupid overall to presume to “regulate” “What GOD Hath wrought”. And, as the article points out so humorously, “climate change’ is some young punk named “Ed” anyway!
Algorithmic Analyst says
Excellent point. I often think about that. For example the wind blows the bad air away.
Charles Lee Ray says
Doesn’t matter. By 2010, the polar ice cap will melt and New York City will be under water.
jfhdsiu says
I’m going to corner the bathing suit market and make a kil… ??? … Hold on… I can’t do that…2010 is thirteen years away! Sigh, being a mentally challenged climate change fanatic is SO disappointing!
Ugly Sid says
That’s completely false.
Within a century people will travel from British Columbia to Mongolia by pogo stick.
I’m working out now so I can be first on the Guineas list to pull it off.
mark smith says
You miscreants! It is settled SCIENCE. WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!
jfhdsiu says
There, there. We understand. Look at it this way. It COULD be worse. We could wind up living in a Liberal run world. How’s THAT for scary?
Lightbringer says
I fear that we may all do that before we inevitably die. What a pity.
JBnID says
People on Earth are like ants on a cruise ship.
We have no more control over the climate than we do the steering.
