I think we can safely stow the theory that this was about Chechnya in the attic trunk right next to Patriot’s Day and gun control. The Tsarnaev
terrorists had set out to kill Americans.
The victim told police he was driven to a Shell Gas Station on Memorial Drive in Watertown. Inside the car, the brothers “declared to [the victim] that they were the Boston Marathon bombers and would not kill him because he wasn’t American,” the report said.
When the victim saw an opportunity to flee, he ran to a nearby gas station where he asked the owner to call 911, the report said.
It would be moderately interesting to know who the victim was. Either way a Coexist sticker doesn’t prevent you from being carjacked and robber at gunpoint. It doesn’t even prevent you from being killed unless you’re a foreigner and not the race or nationality that they are looking for.
Was this a terrorist campaign aimed at Americans? We now have clear confirmation that it was.
