Over the last decade, BLM, and assorted leftist and libertarian groups dismantled our criminal justice system. Police forces were defunded, pro-crime prosecutors refused to lock up criminals, federal and state prison systems released tens of thousands of them, and a wave of legislative decriminalization legalized everything from shoplifting, to drug dealing and mugging.
The pro-crime policymaking that eliminated public safety and cost over 3,000 lives in 2020 alone was done under the guise of fighting racism. Statistics which showed that black people were more likely to be arrested, imprisoned or shot during criminal encounters with police were used to spread conspiracy theories falsely accusing the criminal justice system of systemic racism.
What all of these racist conspiracy theories popularized by politicians, the media, and the entertainment industry ignored was that black people were also far more likely to be crime victims. Even as the BLM riots got underway, black people in surveys were strongly opposed to police defunding. The opposition was so vehement that Democrats not only abandoned the issue, but claimed that they had always been opposed to it and ran against their own position.
Despite years of false claims portraying black people as victims of a biased criminal justice system whose police forces are descended from “slave catchers” who repress minorities at the behest of white suburbanites, surveys of black people continue to tell a very different story.
A Pew survey found that while only 33% of white Democrats wanted to reduce crime, 63% of Hispanics and 66% of black people thought that fighting crime should be a priority.
And that’s nothing new.
Leftists and libertarians lied that the War on Drugs was racist when it was actually pushed by black groups, including the NAACP, which demanded the death penalty for drug dealers.
That same Pew survey showed that while only 38% of white Dems answered that reducing the availability of illegal drugs should be a priority, 57% of Hispanics and 60% of black people believed that it should be.
Now a Kaiser Family Foundation survey shows that black people are far more likely to suffer from crime than white people. The survey, meant to generate support for unconstitutional gun ban measures, instead unintentionally demonstrated that crime hurts black people more.
The KFF survey noted that “three in ten black adults (31%) have personally witnessed someone being shot”, “one-third of black adults (34%) have a family member who was killed by a gun” and (32%) say that they worry all the time about themselves or a family member being shot.
One in six of black adults say they don’t feel “safe at all” from gun violence in their neighborhood, compared to 2% of white adults. 1 in 4 also bought a gun to protect themselves.
Gun violence is just another way of saying crime.
Black people are disproportionately affected by crime. Pro-crime policies led to the deaths of an additional 2,244 black people in 2020. According to a Johns Hopkins report, “in 2020, one out of every 1,000 young black males (15–34) was shot and killed” and, “more than half of all black teens (15–19) who died in 2020—a staggering 52%—were killed by gun violence.”
CDC numbers showed that homicide is a leading cause of death among black men under the age of 20, and from the ages of 20 to 44. White men are killed by guns at the rate of 3.15 per 100,000 while black men die at the rate of 48.16 per 100,000. Pro-crime policies increase crime and kill thousands of black people. That’s what a real disproportionate impact looks like.
Every time pro-crime politicians free criminals, pro-crime prosecutors refuse to prosecute violent offenders, and legislatures eliminate bail, the impact is felt most strongly in the black community.
Law enforcement isn’t racist, but getting rid of it is. When a community depends more on a particular service, losing it has a clear disproportionate impact. Keeping the peace, arresting offenders and dispensing justice is one of the few primal duties of government. The breach in the social contract when the government fails to provide peacekeeping services is devastating.
Most crimes are committed by repeat offenders. The only way to interrupt the cycle of violence is to lock them up. Successful tough on crime policies in the 90s made cities safe once again and led to an economic boom in inner cities. Manhattan’s Harlem went from a danger zone to hosting Bill Clinton’s office, but in 2022, crime increased 44%. The Clinton offices have mostly moved down to the Wall Street area, but where they remain in Central Harlem, crime is up 32%. Next door in West Harlem, it’s up 133%. That means Bill is less likely to tour the Apollo Theater, but it also means that the mostly black residents are the ones feeling the worst of it.
Pro-crime activists have spent years regaling us with the suffering of convicts while caring very little about the shattered lives they have left in their wake. Foundations, protest groups, activist organizations and even PACs have spent hundreds of millions lobbying for criminals, fighting for their release and remaking our system to favor perpetrators, not victims. Their political success has come with a very high cost. And much of that burden has fallen on black people.
It is hard to think of any single policy in the last generation that has done more harm to black people or claimed more lives than the pro-crime agenda. Pro-crime activists have falsely claimed that police shootings of black men are a form of genocide. They’re not. Crime is.
One study counted 286,075 firearm deaths among black people from 1990 to 2021. That’s over a quarter of a million deaths. Some of them are due to suicide, but suicides are much lower among black people than white people, and the majority of black gun deaths were homicides.
And seeing a quarter of a million deaths, the pro-crime Left wants even more bodies.
Those quarter of a million deaths have been largely self-inflicted, but, much as with the welfare state, they were aided and abetted by white liberal policymakers who had come to believe that what the black community really needed was for the government to enable its criminals.
Racist liberal condescension continues to destroy black communities, families and lives.
2020 demonstrated that tough on crime policies can save thousands of black lives and, over time, perhaps even hundreds of thousands of black lives. Pro-crime policies are a racist disaster which reduced black people to criminals and then set out to free criminals to help black people.
That’s why 1 out of every 1,000 young black men are dead.
Pro-crime policies are racist. They enable a crime epidemic that has killed more black people than the total number of battlefield casualties for all races in the Civil War. More black people died in the year of Black Lives Matter than our entire death toll in the Iraq War.
Can it get worse than this? In 1991, 12,226 black people were murdered. For the first time, more black people were killed than white people. The numbers are trending that way once again. While the Left claims that highways and dress codes are systemically racist, their pro-crime policies are a racist program that promises liberation but offers only mass death.
Even decades ago, black homeowners in the SF Bay Area had the houses best protected against street criminals. High concrete fences, I especially remember how those fences were topped with cemented in broken glass, to deter criminals from climbing over.
That action only increases the chances of criminal activity, nothing to do with white supremacy or systemic racism, if you are looking to buy a home would you choose somewhere that needed walls like that?
One definitely doesn’t want to buy a house there, or even rent temporarily. My friend and his wife and kid rented one for a few months while they were looking for a house in a better area with better schools for the kid. Unfortunately a black street criminal killed my friend before they found a better place.

A friend encountered that about 10 years ago. He lived in a neighborhood with a homeowners association. It was about 85% white, 10% hispanic, and 5% black. At one of the meetings, a couple of the black homeowners got up and asked what the association was going to do about the black people moving into the neighborhood. A couple of new black families had moved in on one of their streets and they were furious and very vocal about it. They wanted something done to stop it.
Apparently, when a neighborhood reaches certain percentage(I forget the percentage) of black people, the home values drop, and keep dropping as the percentage increases. Few of the white homowners knew that, but the black ones did. The white homowners were stunned, confused and embarrassed, and didn’t know what to say, except there was nothing they could do, even if they wanted to. The original black homeowners sold their homes and moved to whiter neighborhoods before it reached that point.
I wonder if these black homeowners were of West-Indian background or African immigrant background because they know the difference between themselves and African-Americans.
Just like Latinos do not willy-nilly, randomly, mix, socialize, live, or intermarry among each other. Intermarriage happens but it’s as rare or rarer than whites marrying Latinos.
Jews of different backgrounds don’t intermarry or socialize willy-nilly, randomly, either. Even today Italian-Americans of Northern Italian ancestry are concentrated in different places in America than Italian-Americans of Southern Italian ancestry, they don’t intermarry or socialize randomly just because they’re Italian-American.
That’s Because they know that poor blacks from ghetto neighborhoods believe that might makes right. There will never be a reduction in black on black crime until that changes.

I wrote that the Black’s in so many cities are being killed every week by the hundreds and no tears or protests for them so their live DON’T matter since it doesn’t fit any agenda.
I wrote about this and a man contacted a musical group I volunteer for and WARNED THEM that they shouldn’t have person like me around kids. An office worker called and asked about it and I doubled down. I haven’t been invited there since 2020!!!

They don’t care! The CULT sent them to protest, but never for the 100 plus Blacks that will be killed this weekend!
What you say is true, but it goes against the preferred (and false) narrative that black people are victims of “white racism.” White racism is so rare that the term how now morphed into “whiteness.” So the enemy now is “whiteness” and it must be eliminated. Diversity used to mean what the dictionary says it means. Now it means uniformly non-white. Complete diversity is achieved by eliminating every last white person.
Black lives do NOT matter to leftists, progressives and, most horribly, black people themselves. Black people alone are responsible for the awful cultures they create and maintain. Snitches for stitches and “acting white” by valuing education, hard work, traditional families, etc. The victim card and the race card mean nothing to me.
What has happened to you is not fair, but shrug it off, learn from it, and may God give you great success elsewhere.
It’s long overdue to change the phrase for working hard in school and an honest job to “acting Asian” instead of “acting white” since Asians have a much stronger culture of striving and whites are slipping.

Sometimes it seems that the police mostly exist to babysit, leash, curb, and control the black male population. That is when they are allowed to do their jobs. So on a superficial level a bleeding heart altruist could have the impression that the police are picking on the black community simply because they’re black.
In the 19th century the newly arrived Irish were by all accounts a terrifyingly violent, uncouth, heavy drinking, dissolute, group of rogues. But eventually with the help of the Irish Catholic Church they were tamed, domesticated, and made to assimilate to middle class, civilized, values and norms.
The newly arrived Downtown Jews had the assimilated Uptown Jews to help them assimilate to American middle class mores and norms.

Please look at the new “police accountability “ law in MD. It is a Cloward-Piven scheme to end proactive policing in Maryland. It removed long standing due process protections and instituted a Rube -Goldberg system of review boards. Any Cop who goes toe to toe with a bad guy is susceptible to a 10 year prison sentence. The AG also instituted a head hunter prosecution team to go after Cops. Maryland had zero issues with police brutality and serious misconduct. This has been instituted because the defunding was unpopular. It is the end of effective policing in Maryland.

Every year in America, some 500 whites are murdered by black assailants, more than twice as many as blacks killed by whites. The media need to report all of these cases fairly and without bias so as to counter the false reporting and misplaced emphasis in the national press. On March 28, Virginia rapper EGYPXN, born Tiye Adam Washington II, broke into his own mother’s home. He not only shot his mother, Tyesha Hall, but he also shot his 21-year-old sister and his 12-year-old brother.

The Black Lives Matter movement has only focused on how law enforcement treats blacks. The movement has taken no responsibility for the victims of black criminals, and this is despite the fact that the vast majority of victims at the hands of black criminals are black. Yet the BLM movement never uses the billions of dollars donated by corporations to care for the victims of black criminals. Not a word, not an apology, not a regret, not a dollar.
You are not supposed to notice the patterns. If you mention them, you will be punished.

Black people, males in particular have extremely high Testosterone levels. Those high levels of testosterone are surely connected to high crime rates. At the very least they are one important factor.
If somehow those high levels of Testosterone could be reasonably reduced at an early age, especially in Black male children, perhaps the high Black crime rates would be reduced too.
It would take a lot of willpower by various Black leaders and educators to help make this happen. Many Black people might oppose such action.
Still, it should be discussed in a serious manner especially within Black communities.
I would not wish to jump on the toxic masculinity bandwagon by blaming high testosterone. Every healthy woman wants a high-T man and is repulsed by low-T soy boys.

Even if that were true how much more testosterone do you think they produce? If you look at most labs, on average, the scale for testosterone is 300-900. Males in their 20’s will be on the higher end and as we age our testosterone levels decline. Many near or below 300.
I can assure you young black males aren’t over 900. AND having high testosterone doesn’t cause you to become more aggressive or commit more crime. If that were the case our prisons would be filled with bodybuilders who take enormous amounts of anabolic steroids. Having testosterone levels of over 2,500 is not unusual for bodybuilders.

I went to racially integrated public schools starting in 1961. Throughout my time in school I witnessed a nearly complete disregard for education exhibited by black students. This was in an excellent school district (in which they did not live or pay taxes to) which provided them with a wonderful educational opportunity. The few academically oriented black students were derided by the others as “Oreos” or “acting white.” At that time, we had to purchase our high school textbooks and sell them back at the end of the school year. Blacks were given brand new books for free (while my brother and I had to make due with second and third-hand books) and I personally witnessed cases where, when black kids were selling back their books in the spring, they were still in their (unopened) wax paper packaging. Such attitudes toward education have done more to retard black academic advancement than anything any white person ever did. I don’t know what it is like today but I do know that my current community has been working to close the racial “achievement gap” since 1972 (i.e., for more than half a century) without much, if any, success.
Why bother with studying & working hard when a 7.5 million $ reparations check is right around the corner.

As for interracial violence generally, blacks disproportionately commit it. Between 2012 and 2015, there were 631,830 violent interracial victimizations, excluding homicide, between blacks
and whites, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Blacks, who make up 13 percent of the U.S. population, committed 85.5 percent of those victimizations, or 540,360 felonious assaults on
whites, while whites, 61 percent of the population, committed 14.4 percent, or 91,470 felonious assaults on blacks. Regarding threats to blacks from the police, a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.
Throw Asians in the mix and it gets even worse.
Hispanics are between blacks and whites in crime rate. In some stats, they’re included with whites, making whites look worse.
Blacks first wanted freedom, then they wanted equality. They should have stopped at that and just pursue lawsuits against racist lawfare that allows indirect discrimination/segregation. But they did not. Next they demand that low SAT scores be modified in their favor, then they demand quotas for promotion and hiring. Now they demand Asians to stop being successful, everyone pay them reparations and an education that uses past historical events out of context to foster permanent hate of whites that even jeopardize white safety. In their foolishness they unleashed lawlessness and disorder within their own community. Despite that they still voted for angry black activists for mayors and council people in cities. Guess what I conclude they (Blacks who are descendent from slaves) as a group are unreasonable and incorrigible compared to Hispanic/Asian/Black immigrants who want to become loyal Americans. What does the US do with incorrigible groups? Look how we dealt with the American Indians after they attacked US frontier settlements and waged total war in alliance with Britain during Revolutionary War and War of 1812. We militarily destroyed them. I do not advocate sending in troops to black communities to do the same thing. Not in our modern DNA. We can destroy them by isolating their communities, shun them and let them be their own worst enemies. If woke college educated young white kids want to live amongst them, let them learn with their lives and their fortune.
There’s an entire TV show, dressed up as a situation comedy called The Neighborhood in which a white yuppie family moves into a black neighborhood where THEY are the interlopers. The neighborhood is low crime, the black neighbors are salt of the earth, smarter than the naive white couple and very helpful once the head of the household (played by Cedric the entertainer) gets over his neighborhood being “invaded” by pale folk.
Where is this black nirvana neighborhood? Not on this planet as no neighborhood, city, state or country dominated by blacks is low crime and high achieving. Maybe it’s next to Wakanda.
Unfortunately, that neighborhood does not exist.
There are very few westernkind blacks. These blacks would love to be able to live with other blacks, but those neighborhoods are unfit for civilization and the nourishment of the next generation.
A black friend and her husband always flee the neighborhoods where they come as the sole black couple. After a few years, other blacks come in and they flee to a whiter neighborhood. Ironically, she has ambivalent feelings towards whites. Most blacks simply do not like or even hate us, and this is inculcated in black children almost universally. She must live with her own tensions – she ALWAYS prefers white neighborhoods, but she thinks we are all racists by virtue of our “lived experience of whiteness.”
Her neighbor now is a retired Austin police officer. She gave him the business about how black people are innocent victims of police racism. I don’t know how that turned out, but I would not want to have that kind of tension with my neighbor.
Also, self-reflection is not a black thing. Here is a video of a black woman in a trashed Walmart manifesting the exact attitude I described earlier:
“libertarian groups dismantled our criminal justice system.”
Hmm, the author must mean anarchists. It’s not the same.
