For most of 2020, Black Lives Matter racists and their leftist allies conducted a campaign of harassing public officials, most of them Democrats, by protesting outside their homes. Their actions terrorized the mayors of Seattle and Portland. But when they attempted to stop the harassment, the media turned on them.
When the husband of Jackie Lacey, the black female Los Angeles DA, confronted BLM bigots outside their home, he was the one who was arrested.
Now, suddenly Democrats and the media are outraged that Republicans are protesting outside the homes of key Democrat election officials who played key roles in rigging the election.
Particularly, Jocelyn Benson. I’ve written about Benson’s key role in setting the stage for this rigged election.
Benson, a veteran of the Southern Poverty Law Center and assorted structural initiatives to benefit Democrat voter strategies nationwide, was backed by a river of cash, with her own fundraising topping $1 million, and iVote throwing in nearly another million.
iVote is a Democrat organization whose goals include mandatory voter registration, universal mail voting, and the end of any measures, like voter ID, to fight voter fraud.
Republicans were outspent 2 to 1 and Michigan got an ‘Election Week’.
Now the media is huffing and puffing at the outrage of protesters showing up outside her home after dark.
Showing up to protest outside the homes of election officials after dark is intimidation and terrorism. It’s wrong. And the Democrats accepted it as a legitimate tactic when their lefty flank was doing it. It’s far too late for them to switch on the same double standard that they always use. If BLM can do it, then so can conservatives.
Normalizing a tactic, normalizes it, period.
But Democrats and their media keep trying to play a double game in which they’re allowed to utilize any tactic because they’re on the side of good, and Republicans aren’t allowed to do anything except go along because they’re on the wrong side of history.
That ideological slant has nothing to do with the real world.
When you normalize this kind of behavior, it becomes the new normal.
