The Dem Twitter feed has been oddly quiet about Kavanaugh. Instead it’s retweeted a few tweets from other pols about Kavanaugh.
Why would that be? #BelieveAllWomen can be a touchy subject when your organization’s no. 2 has been accused of abuse by two women.
But the DNC’s No. 1 has called for an investigation, of a Republican, rather than his deputy/rival.
Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Tom Perez on Sunday said that a sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh “must be investigated thoroughly.”
Perez’s statement comes as the DNC remains evasive about a domestic abuse allegation against Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, the deputy chair of the DNC.
There’s no police report with Kavanaugh and thus nothing to investigate. However there is a police report involving Ellison.
There’s one Kavanaugh accuser from ages ago. But there are two Ellison accusers. And the most recent one is… fairly recent.
The Dems seem quite eager to sic the FBI on Kavanaugh. Why not have the FBI look into Ellison’s personal life?
