Governor Pritzker hasn’t killed 5% of the nursing home residents in his state. So he’s doing better than Cuomo. But the glaring hypocrisy here is fairly typical of lockdown politicians with styled hair whose families are not living by the same rules as the serfs.

The first Pritzker was asked about his wife being in Florida, the Illinois boss got on his high horse.

Governor J. B. Pritzker: Well, first of all, I want to say that in politics it used to be that we kept our families out of it. My official duties have nothing to do with my family, so I’m just not going to answer that question. It’s inappropriate, and I find it reprehensible honestly that that reporter wrote a story about it.

The GOP kept the heat on.

“If his family can’t even heed the guidance of his own stay at home order, how does he expect Illinois voters to do the same?” said a May 4 email from the Republican National Committee.

Now Pritzker finally got around to sheepishly admitting that his family was “sheltering in place” in Florida. A lot of Chicago residents would have loved to do that. The question that the lazy biased media isn’t asking is what did J.B. tell wifey about the coming lockdown.

But now they’re at a horse farm in Wisconsin. After the horse farm in Florida.

“I just will say we have a working farm. They’re there now. There are animals on that farm, that it’s an essential function to take care of animals at a farm, so that’s what they’re doing,” he said.

That’s hilarious.

I’m going to go ahead and guess that wifey is not needed to take care of those horses, who were already being cared for by their staff. Pretending that his wife went to Wisconsin because she’s a essential worker is a stupid lie only the media could believe.

J.B. now falsely claims that discussing his family hypocrisy and their wealth and privilege puts them in danger.

“I’ve been very private and reserved when it comes to my children, and it’s because there are threats to my safety and to their safety,” Pritzker said. “I would hope that the GOP, the Republican super-PAC that’s pushing stories like this about my family would stop doing it, because they are putting my children and my family in danger.”

The only threat here is to his reelection.
