It was 1973 in Jerusalem. I was 21 years old walking through the Arab section of the Old City. I was sporting a massive afro and wearing an army jacket with the name “Elder” above the pocket, a gift from my little brother who was serving.
I heard footsteps, so I stopped, turned around, and saw about 10 smiling kids following me. I kept walking until I heard louder footsteps. I stopped, turned around, and saw maybe 20 kids following me. I kept walking until I heard even more footsteps. Now there were 50 kids. So, I stopped, turned around, and smiled, and they surrounded me. I then conducted a sort of press conference. One kid spoke pretty fluent English.
“Do you know Muhammad Ali?” I was asked.
“Personally?” I said. “No.”
About a third of the kids left.
“Do you know Angela Davis?” I was asked next.
“Personally? No.”
Another third left.
“Do you know karate?” I was then asked.
“No.”
The rest of the kids left. I was not asked about Martin Luther King. I was not asked about George Washington or Thomas Jefferson. I was not asked about the U.S. Constitution or the U.S. Civil War.
Why was I asked about Muhammad Ali? It was not just that the heavyweight champion was arguably the most famous person in the world. It was this most famous person in the world who converted to Islam and rejected Christianity. Therefore, to these kids, he was a superhero. As for Angela Davis, she is an American communist who, in a widely publicized trial, was tried and acquitted of murder and kidnapping charges in connection to an assault on a courthouse in California. And on walls all over the city, there were posters of American martial arts movies. This explains the question about karate.
I often think about this, but even more so after Oct. 7, when Hamas murdered over 1,000 Israelis, many raped and their bodies mutilated. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to “defeat Hamas.”
But how do you defeat an ideology? The hatred of Israel and Jews is instilled in the Palestinians from birth. Antisemitism is taught in schools, in mosques, in music, in television shows, in the news, in movies, and, of course, in the speeches of political leaders.
Israel no longer “occupies” Gaza, having left in 2005. Gaza held elections, and Hamas has been in charge. As to who is currently in charge of Gaza, this is from the BBC:
“Ismail Haniyeh is widely considered Hamas’s overall leader. A prominent member of the movement in the late 1980s, Israel imprisoned Haniyeh for three years in 1989 as it cracked down on the first Palestinian uprising.
“He was then exiled in 1992 to a no-man’s-land between Israel and Lebanon, along with several Hamas leaders. After a year in exile, he returned to Gaza. In 1997 he was appointed head of the office of Hamas’s spiritual leader, strengthening his position.
“Haniyeh was appointed Palestinian prime minister in 2006 by President Mahmoud Abbas after Hamas won the most seats in national elections, but was dismissed a year later after the group ousted Mr. Abbas’ Fatah party from the Gaza Strip in a week of deadly violence. …
“He was elected head of Hamas’s political bureau in 2017. In 2018, the US Department of State designated Haniyeh a terrorist. He has lived in Qatar for the past several years.”
How do Palestinians feel about Oct. 7? According to a December 2023 article in Reuters: “Almost three in four Palestinians believe the October 7 attack was correct, and the ensuing Gaza war has lifted support for the Islamist group both there and in the West Bank, a survey from a respected Palestinian polling institute found. … Seventy-two percent of respondents said they believed the Hamas decision to launch the cross-border rampage in southern Israel was ‘correct’ given its outcome so far, while 22% said it was ‘incorrect.’ The remainder were undecided or gave no answer.”

It’s not about abolishing a hate mentality and brainwashing, its about looking after your citizens to protect them from those barbarians. Let the terror lovers know DEFEAT, since they thrive and are emboldened by even small victories, but yield to those who are stronger.
Islam directly conflicts with our Constitution. Islam IS NOT a religion, but a political belief.

Simple: Eradicate Islam, forcibly edit/rewrite or outright burn every Koran on the planet and deprogram 1.5 billion Muslims. Then start in on the Leftists.

The MESSAGE to muslims should be “you can be religious, you can live your life, BUT your cannot seek to dominate the WORLD because of your religion”! What other “religion” operates on such a tenet of hatred? None that I know of – even the snake handlers will gladly hand you a rattlesnake!! The only way to defeat their culture is simply to ELIMINATE it! DESTROY EVERYTHING associated with it! FORBID the TEACHING of it! Show them the MODERN, MORAL life is much better! With the money that previously went into the TUNNELS and ARMAMENTS and RICH ‘elites”, there could be a major rebuild of Gaza and everyone’s life could be improved – but only IF they stop their terrorist ideology!! Israel will end hamass and if Gazans follow the path of other muslims exposed to the REAL WORLD, they will want a better life for themselves and their families. End the brainwashing of the children, teach them values, and allow them to experience childhood joys! The adults will be more difficult but the message should be “this is how it is – live PEACEFULLY or suffer the consequences”! When the “martyr money” is ended the insane will slack off – or just die for free!

You kill the worst, imprison the remaining perps, then install a provisional govt that outlaws all promotion of the former regime’s activity.
To combat hate you must show them love. But the Bible might have some clues. Once a generation is hell bent on something you just have to wonder them in the desert for 40 years until the old ones die off and then you can work with the younger ones and teach them of Love and Self control and how to have a sound mind. You have to get to the children and teach them love. The older ones have seen too much and been lied to, too long. It’s nie impossible to undo the programming.
But how do you keep Muslim parents from teaching anti-Semitism to their children? They always have. It’s in many Muslim holy texts. As is conquering the world for Islam.
Turning the other cheek will merely lead to suicide and a tortuous death of anyone they hate and attack. They should be thought of as a cancer tumor in a body. Remove it completely and then apply radiation to assure destruction of any possible cell left behind. They are actually pre-civilizational. No civilization may exist with these elements within.

To answer your question, it is similar to a cancer, that is, remove the tumor from the body. Iow, remove ALL the pre-civilizationists from modern society. They appear to be hold-overs from the era of Neanderthals. The ONLY way is thugetectomy. Every nano particle gone.

How do you defeat a culture of hate? You wipe them out to the very last man.
There’s only one way, and that’s to defund the whole of the UN not just the islamic led UNRWA all of it 100%.
We need different leadership here in the States. Netanyahu is and has been good against terrorism. The US has to realize the importance of our partnership with Israel. Terrorism against innocents must be acknowledged and dealt with. Terror is never acceptable and should be punished.
You can only combat hate by killing them with kindness or better yet stay away from them, in other words do not allow them into non islamic Nations,
Secure the southern US border and sink the boats in the English Channel and Mediterranean, that will keep them away and they can stay in their own islamic shithole countries and we will live our lives in peace and security.

Everyone has an answer as to how to wipe out hate. Well you can’t. Everyone thought we did it at the end of WWII in Germany. 75 years later it’s back with a vengeance in the form of Hamas Jew Hatred. Even the little white college campus snowflakes are getting in on the fun.

I clearly remember a nun teaching us in Catholic School in the 60’s that muslims have always converted with the sword. They have no business living in Gaza. Just as we must deport the illegal aliens in America, Israel must deport the Gaza and Judea Arabs.
If Israel has the political will to do so, we will see. Here in America the traitor, biden, has employed the Cloward-Piven approach to illegal immigration. He’s overwhelmed the border with so many illegal aliens it will be nearly impossible to excise them. Unfortunately, we don’t have a political leader on the horizon who even attempt to deport more than a few of them. Israel may, eventually, be able to rid itself of the threat to its existence but in America we will be strapped with millions of illegals forever.
There was a time when you had to walk through the arab quarter to get to the Western Wall. It was always scary doing this as a female. I know the feeling of being surrounded. The children were like little savages….worse than the adults.
The only way to defeat Neo-Nazi hate is to kill as many leaders as possible. Plus a large number of the followers have to be killed too. Critical ages that have to die – males 15 to 25. We did this in WW2. Lots of German civilians died because to root out evil the supporters have to die. Once this is done an occupation has to occur to eliminate a resurgence of Neo-Nazism. It’s a sad truth.
You start by slaughtering the doers of evil to send a message that they will not be tolerated.
