He got tired of waiting—and tired of trusting the very powers that toppled his father, destroyed his motherland, and broke his own family—to make it right.
A world simmering in hatred-fueled slumber looks on in complete bewilderment. They fail to see the hope that the vast majority of Iranians see.
By ignoring actual history, people forget the previous relationship between Israel and Iran. And despite any proclamations to the contrary, Jimmy Carter secretly celebrated the overthrow of the Shah in 1979 because of his personal disdain for Israel.
How ironic then that Carter’s impressive fall from political grace was aided by his own Middle East policy.
Anni Cyrus, you have again shed needed light onto the issue that the entirety of Western media misses. That there absolutely IS an endgame in sight in the present battle in Iran. And that very endgame will work to the benefit of Israel, Iran, and the entire region.
May the people of the Nation of Iran, hear this man’s words and stand up against their captivity and enslavement. The people have a voice and a man of direction. The prayers of a people have reached eternity and the winds of change are at your back so I pray to G-d Almighty for you to be courageous at this very time and stand up for your freedom.
May your once beautiful nation, now with a good leader ready to emerge from a forced exile, find a people embolden and ready to grasp the ring of gus righteous call for a bright, beautiful future.
Let those aligned with the darkness and evil of this totalitarian regime be immediately buried in the ashes and rubble of the very misery they created and implemented over the legitimate desires of the Iranian people.
Shalom Aleichem.
He would be on the throne right now if it hadn’t been for Peanut Dhimmi Carter, who was a vicious antisemite who prated about “human rights” while embracing dictators and terrorists (Nicolae Ceausecu, Hafez Al Assad, Yasser Arafat, Daniel Ortega, Fidel Castro and eventually even Kim Il Sung) and whose only virtue was that his sanctimoniousness was matched by ineptitude.
And from what I remember, Mr Carter was instrumental in the activities that lead to the destruction of South Africa.
The People of Iran do not want nor deserve a CIA puppet monarchy
America Held Hostage – in 1979 – months of misery thanks to Jimmy Carter, the French for allowing Khomeini to return to Iran, and of course, the fools who supported Khomeini in the United States universities. I wonder how many of these “students” now regret their support of Khomeini.
Carter leant on the French to return Khomeini to Iran.
Sort of similar to the Germans sending Lenin back to Russia during WWI.
The Germans empowered Lenin to cripple Russia and the world war 1. Somehow I dont think the enemy that Germany gained by creating bolshevik destruction is exactly what they wanted. This one act of sending Lenin to Russia pretty much directly causes Hitler to rise to power from obscurity.
Regret it now? In graduate school in knew plenty who regretted it within a couple of months. The question is, how many know how to avoid a re-run?
Might as well make it a clean sweep, not just regime change, but name change as well. I vote that Iran return to its original name of Persia and throw the evil associated with the name Iran into the dust bin of history and make a complete and total change. I believe the ‘Persians’ will love it.
Rev. Roy………..<
“….a national and democratic government—by the Iranian people, for the Iranian people.” This is a blueprint for total disaster. Guy should just assume the throne. Not all peoples are suited to democracy; certainly not the Middle East. One could argue quite strongly that no country is. It’s an especially bad idea for Iran; reinstate the monarchy.
I remember an incident from many years ago (pre-1979, obviously) when some “liberal” reporter asked the Shah why he didn’t rule his people with the same gentle hand as the King of Sweden ruled his.
The Shah replied, “When my people behave like the Swedes, I will!”
