Call it preemptive Election Denial.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi picked Rep. Jamie Raskin, a supposed “constitutional law” expert in the same way that an arsonist is an expert on house fires, as a ‘manager’ for impeaching President Trump over J6.
Since then, Rep. Raskin has been prepping a bill that would abuse the 14th Amendment to block Trump.
Raskin, a former member of the Jan. 6 select committee, said he is already crafting the bill, telling Axios, “I’m working on it — today.”
Raskin pointed to legislation he introduced with Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) in 2022 creating a pathway for the Justice Department to sue to keep candidates off the ballot under the 14th Amendment.
“We are going to revise it in light of the Supreme Court’s decision,” Raskin said.
Raskin suggested the bill would be paired with a resolution declaring Jan. 6 an “insurrection” and that those involved “engaged in insurrection.”
Congressional Dems did not initially seem enthusiastic about the idea of denying certification to Trump if he wins based on their abuse of the 14th Amendment.
Congressional Democrats are showing no signs of using the Electoral College certification process to enforce the 14th Amendment and deny Donald Trump a second presidential term if he wins in November.
The Supreme Court’s decision this month to keep Trump on the Colorado primary ballot left it to Congress to act before the Constitution’s so-called Insurrection Clause could be enforced to keep him from regaining the White House.
But some legal experts have pointed out that the decision never explicitly rules out a scenario where Congress uses its power under the 12th and 20th amendments to enforce presidential eligibility requirements during a joint session on Jan. 6, 2025.
Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, said the theory was just “dealing in a sequence of hypotheticals.”
But the hypothetical is becoming less hypothetical.
Based on this video, Rep. Raskin is quite serious about trying to abuse the 14th Amendment.

“They want to kick it to Congress,” Rep. Raskin complains. “So it will be up to us on Jan 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified and then we need bodyguards for everyone, civil war conditions.”
Someone will have to tell the “rampaging mob” that the election results have been overturned to fortify democracy. Right after the Democrat nominee was ousted to fortify democracy.
And then there will have to be troops in the streets as Kamala takes her oath of office to stop the public from interfering while anyone who protests gets ‘gulaged’.
The media and Dems might defend this as a “novel legal theory” except that they’re busy prosecuting and disbarring people even tangentially involved in using novel legal theories to conduct election challenges.
Before Dems criminalized election denial, they specialized in it. And if Rep. Raskin is serious, then their endgame strategy is to hope to take Congress and then rejection the results of the 2024 election, while using any protests in response to declare martial law and impose Kamala at gunpoint.
This is of course everything that they falsely accused Trump of doing in 2020. And if you know leftists, then you know that it means they’re getting ready to do it themselves.
Suggesting trying to start a civil war should Trump win is treasonous on its face. Preventing Congress from certifying the election is exactly what Trump, without any evidence, was accused of. In this case the Democrats would actually be guilty of election interference.
All of this really means is that they know Kammy will not win in November.

The compromise would be an agreement to accept a Republican President and Vice=President but not Trump and Vance. The Democrats would submit a list of “acceptable” replacements from which the Republicans would choose.
The precedent in American history for this tactic and its success is the compromise over the Tilden-Hayes election. The Democrat party would not accept the election of Rutherford B. Hayes and did everything they could to halt governance and commerce within the United States, holding the citizens of America hostage.
The Republicans accepted the Democrat terms which ended Reconstruction, removed Federal troops and surrendered the South to the Klu Klux Klan and racist rule for almost a hundred years.
Concur: Rep. Raskin clearly appears to be the Insurrectionist since he should know (ignorance is no excuse) that promoting Civil War would according to qualified experts would end the United States. Thus promoting Civil War is in effect is an Insurrection in of itself – thus Rep. There is very little chance for Trump to win again. How many states have changed their voting rules? How many states require an elector to vote for who he signed up with? How would the House react if there were objections to the electoral vote. They cannot allow each state to vote because there would be a landslide for Trump. Would the Supreme Court step in? Do they have standing? The real question appears to be would the National Guard pull the triggers.
Jamie Raskin is, unfortunately, my Congressman. His parents were the founders of the Institute for Policy Studies, a far Left “think tank” that never found a communist dictatorship it couldn’t support. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

The peaceful and patriotic protesters of 2021 were not armed. That would probably not be true of protesters in 2025 should Democrats choose not to seat the winner of the Electoral College count. Representatives and Senators who would act in such a way would likely find that zealots ready to take action against them would outnumber them and their security details. The recent attempt on President Trump’s life certainly exposes the risks taken by public officials when motivated, armed citizens oppose them. Let us all pray we never experience such a reaction.

I really do hope that the left continues to bring the fight to us armed patriots — many of us with military combat experience. They are outnumbered and outgunned. It was always going to come down to this. The only reason they continue to exist at all is because the morals and principles which they lack are what has been holding us back.
