It’s time for Mayor Bill de Blasio, a Dinkins aide who named a building after his former boss who twiddled his thumbs while a pogrom was happening in Crown Heights, to accuse Rudy Giuliani, who put an end to that kind of violence, of anti-Semitism.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday accused one of his predecessors, Rudy Giuliani, of sinking to a new low with what he called a “particularly dangerous” “anti-Semitic rant.”
“I know Rudy Giuliani is determined to set new lows in pathetic, spineless behavior these days — but this anti-Semitic rant is particularly dangerous,” de Blasio tweeted Tuesday. “The attacks our Jewish communities have endured are fueled by this kind of loathsome hate. He’s an absolute disgrace.”
Great. Now go take another photo with Linda Sarsour.
Forget everything else except the practical results. Under Bill de Blasio and his old boss David Dinkins, Jews were and are routinely assaulted in Brooklyn.
Giuliani put an end to it.
That’s the reality on the ground. And Bill de Blasio is the spineless weasel too afraid to stand up to his black nationalist allies to stop the assaults on Jews. I’m reminded of what Mayor Lindsay told the Jews when they asked him to stop the attacks. I imagine Bill de Blasio would say the same thing.
