She made a digital dashboard that showed Wuhan Virus rates. She wasn’t researching the virus, treating patients or making policy.

She put up numbers for people to see.

Jones started out with a journalism BA, then moved to some sort of communications/geo MS and a PhD tracking Indian grave sites that had possibly been caused by hurricanes.

She’s not an epidemiologist, but is kicking up a fuss over being reassigned. The only scandal here is the media’s lack of integrity.
