Two Muslim terrorists attacked a Jewish synagogue in Jerusalem and killed four worshipers and wounded many more.
At least four Jewish worshipers are dead, with at least four in critical or serious condition, in the wake of a terror attack at a crowded Jerusalem synagogue Tuesday morning, according to Israeli media reports.
Initial reports said the number of casualties was lower.
Israeli Police said two Palestinian terrorists entered the Kehilat Yaakov synagogue on Shimon Agassi St. in the city’s religious Har Nof neighborhood at about 07:00 a.m., opened fire with weapons and struck worshipers with knives and axes.
Eight worshipers were injured in the incident, four of them seriously, and they were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and Shaare Zedek. The attackers were also killed, after a shootout with police who came to the scene.
Apparently the two terrorists from East Jerusalem armed with axes, guns and knives they came to Rabbi Shimon Agassi Street in the capital.
“The wounded were scattered in different rooms and paramedics arrived at the scene and spread out on the ground and gave them primary care. They quickly evacuated the wounded to hospitals in ambulances. Certainly you can see the images there – casualties covered with prayer shawl and phylacteries are very difficult to watch,” said MDA spokesman Zaki Heller.
This is a continuing of the ongoing Muslim violence in an attempt at driving the indigenous Jewish population from Jerusalem in order to Reislamize the city as they had attempted to do in 1948.
