UPDATE: A Soros group has objected to the characterization of Mosby as a Soros DA.

Alex Navarro-Mckay asserted that, “Justice & Public Safety PAC has never supported, directly or indirectly, Ms. Mosby’s campaigns for public office.”

This post however made no mention of the PAC, and I pointed out that as FOX Baltimore noted at the time, “As the Baltimore Brew was first to report Mosby received roughly $30,000.00 in reimbursed travel over the past two years. Earlier this month, we learned Mosby formed a travel agency in 2019 that she failed to mention in her financial disclosure forms filed with the State Ethics Commission.”

“Some Soros backed organizations sponsor trips like this one Mosby took to Europe. As this video produced by Fair and Just Prosecution shows roughly twenty prosecutors took that trip FJP sponsored and paid for. 30% of the trips Mosby listed were sponsored by Fair and Just Prosecution.”

So I think the Soros DA label standards. Justice & Public Safety PAC does not agree.

 

 

This seems appropriate because modern lefties believe in racism the way the goodwives of Salem believed in the devil. It’s everywhere and everyone might be a witch.

Especially her.

Meanwhile, the glorious saga of Soros DA Marilyn Mosby managed to fuse both narratives. All of this started when the attempted lyncher of the Freddie Gray cops was herself nabbed.

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby on Thursday was charged in a federal indictment that accuses her of filing misleading information and paperwork for loan applications.

Mosby, 41, is charged with two counts each of perjury and false statement on mortgage applications, relating to the purchases of two vacation homes in Florida, according to the Department of Justice.

If convicted, Mosby faces a maximum of five years in federal prison for each count of perjury and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison for the two counts of making false mortgage applications.

Mosby and her allies are blaming racism and the devil.

After beginning his sermon, the Rev. Robert Turner summoned Mosby and her husband, Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby, to the front of the church, where they were encircled by congregants, who joined hands in prayer.

“We rebuke the enemy and his attack on their life. The Devil is a liar,” Turner said, standing beside the couple as an organist played softly. “We surround her physically now, but spiritually forevermore, as we intercede on her behalf.”

“We can certainly use your prayers,” Mosby said, reading from a cellphone. “As a family, we are in the fight of our lives. But I stand before you confident and covered, trusting that with God on our side, I believe the fight is already fixed in my favor.”

A lot of things are fixed in Baltimore. And racist.

“One sad fact about today is social media can allow people to be charged — accused — before you ever set foot in a courtroom,” Turner said. “As a people of African descent, we have been charged before we even got here. They charged us while we were minding our business in Africa.”

… with false statements on mortgage applications.

But if there’s one lesson here, it’s that it’s time for Marilyn Mosby to run for president. She’s got more charisma and chutzpah than Kamala. Imagine Marilyn Mosby getting interviewed about whether she’s going to run in 2024, she wouldn’t lose her train of thought, just bring out her pastor to blame the devil and racism… and that would be the best 60 Minutes interview ever.
