A totalitarian clown doesn’t stop being a clown just because he’s also a totalitarian.
As the investigation delves into Trudeau’s illegal decision to ruthlessly suppress the Freedom Convoy protests, the investigation turned up extraordinary coordination and pressure from the Biden administration.
Meanwhile Trudeau’s defense of ruthlessly suppressing a peaceful protest is, literally, “What if someone had gotten hurt?”
Not someone got hurt. What if someone had gotten hurt.
This isn’t even, “We had to destroy the village to save the village.” It’s, “We had to destroy the village because what if someone had stubbed a toe?”
Canada’s prime minister says he is “serene and confident” in his decision to invoke never-before-used emergency powers to end a protest of pandemic public health measures that occupied the nation’s capital for three weeks last winter.
Justin Trudeau told a public inquiry Friday that he had to consider what might happen if he didn’t take action to end the so-called Freedom Convoy occupation.
What might have happened.
On that theory, Trudeau has to be urgently removed from office and fitted with one of those Hannibal Lecter facemasks. True, he hasn’t drugged and cannibalized anyone yet, but we have to consider what might happen if we don’t take action.
“What if the worst had happened in those following days? What if someone had gotten hurt, what if a police officer had been put in hospital?” he said.
“I would have worn that,” he continued. “The responsibility of a prime minister is to make the tough calls and keep people safe.”
What if the government decided to deprive people of civil liberties on a massive scale on a what if pretext that didn’t actually happened.
If Justin is so worried, why didn’t he shut down Black Lives Matter riots?
Do you know who actually sent police officers to the hospital?
It was in the short time between when I wrote the piece and when it was published that “peaceful protesters” tore down the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald in Montreal, a scene that saw a viral response of dismay erupt from a large part of the nation.
Around the same time, seven police officers were injured – some sent to hospital – following a protest that got out of hand in midtown Toronto, also on Saturday. Seven. That’s a lot.
Here’s a question. A what if question.
What if Trudeau and his regime protects violent thugs they agree with while destroying the civil liberties of peaceful protesters they disagree with.
What if?

What if Canadian people cared enough about their liberties to oust shiny pony Trudeau? Trudeau and Biden ascertained correctly the implications of Covid when Trump failed to even grapple with the electoral implications. This failure had the added benefit from their perspective of making him latch onto the “vaccine” for salvation.
“It doesn’t matter what I believe. It only matters what I can prove.”

Trump believed the big pharmaceutical corporations and forgot that they are probably the most corrupt group on the planet.
If he wins the republican nomination the establishment will use the deaths caused by the mRNA injections against him.
That achieves two things, destroys Trump and relieves the CDC and the World Health Organization and the U.N. and the pharmaceutical industry of their responsibility for the deaths caused.
Have you seen this:

Pharmaceutical corporation Is just other word for Global Drug Dealers.
They flood the media with lucrative advertising … they heavily ‘DONATE’ aka payoff politicians … then they make billions from the frightened suckers who believe what the MSM tells them.

There’s only pre-Covid America which Trump closed the door on with some encouragement from Fauci on and post-Covid America which can’t even budge a disaster like Biden in the midterms.

Had to make the tough decisions!!! Tough? Doing what the World Health Organization told everyone to do he called that a tough decision. The WEF leadership programme trained him and Boris Johnson and Angela Merkel well.
The tough decision would have been to go against the mob.

Before Canada become even vaguely free again, I think there will be several people “hurt”.

As a born Canadian that has lived here for almost 7 decades I can tell you that I do not even recognize my own country since 2015 when Justine Trudeau was installed as leader. He has taken us from what was once one of the most respected democratic and free country in the world and flipped it into a woke third world neo- communist sewage tank. Our failing healthcare system was beaten up even further by mass psychosis using government sponsered media to push their phoney narratives, emergency departments are routinely closing because of staff shortages and to wait for more than 8 hours to be assessed is not uncommon, the number of tent cities across the country has exploded, the food banks are overwhelmed because the price of food is out of reach for so many, the price of gasoline to fill up is riduculous, the divide between certain members of society has been amplified and the rule of law flushed down the toilet. And now that Trudeau has formed a coalition with another toxic woke party he is guaranteed to be free from any oppositon and can do what ever he wants to for as long as he wants to. The dog and pony show, er the inquiry that took place to determine if Trudeau was justified invoking the Emermergency Act is just a confirmation that Canada is now ruled by a tyranical megalomaniac who can do whatever he/she/ they or whatever trudeau is, without impunity.

Your argument certainly convinces me, but we in America might not be in a position to throw stones, seeing as how we are now apparently OK with electing genuine mental defectives to high office.
Honk Canuck says
Woke sewage is spreading in many countries faster than a turd flushing down the toilet. The big questions are who is behind all this trash and how do we put a stop to it before it infects/affects everyone. Soy boy trudeau and your guy the are both cut from the same cloth. Both are so far removed from what life is for the average person and both evidently suffer from some sort of cognitive issues.

pharmaceutical corporations are nothing more than drug dealers …. Let that sink in.

No one was injured or assaulted until the Emergency Act was used, when the police used pepper spay, and horses to clear out the protesters…
So the Prime Minstrel caused injuries by his actions

Trudeau rates right up there with Hitler, Stalin, Castro and Mao for their tyranny do Braindead liberal want America to copy him?
Kasandra says
But Canada’s Covid death rate per 100,000 is about the same as those of Honduras, Denmark and others and considerably worse than that of, e.g., Japan and many other countries. So Trudeau’s mandates don’t seem to have helped anyone and undoubtedly hurt many. But, as a leftist, in his mind he’s always right and noble, statistics be damned.
TruthLaser says
“What if someone had gotten hurt?” that is the question. Whether t’is nobler in the mind to suffer, The slings and arrows of outrageous Riots, Or to take up Arms against a Sea of terrorism, And by opposing them. to have somebody get hurt.

All I can say is, the need for circumspection in forming the most basic social policy
is making itself increasingly obvious. Who can deny that the abolition of dueling has had profound negative consequences? We try to be nice and are now burdened with dangerous fools? Mendacious conmen, who would be poisoning wells or faking nautical lights to induce shipwrecks, if they hadn’t chosen to enter politics?
We want a moral and performance high jump.
We get the limbo.
