In today’s article, ‘The Trump Indictment Criminalizes Political Dissent’, I briefly touched on the laws that Democrat prosecutor Jack Smith abused to go after Trump.
“Describing publicly conducted election challenges as an effort to “defraud” the United States government turns 18 U.S. Code § 371 into an open-ended tool for suppressing a wide range of political dissent. Treating lobbying or any kind of advocacy as the equivalent of witness tampering weaponizes 18 U.S. Code § 1512 against virtually anyone trying to influence a function of government. Which is to say virtually everyone who is interested in politics. And finally deploying 18 U.S. Code § 241, originally designed to fight the KKK, against Trump and anyone trying to verify legitimate election results makes election fraud into a civil right.”
While the abuse of 18 U.S. Code § 241 to go after political opponents is obviously no laughing matter, in a sign of just how inappropriate the indictment is, we’re talking about a law designed to fight the KKK.
How explicitly are we talking about here?
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death
.No word on whether anyone in this case went in disguise on the highway.
Anti-Klan laws tended to include bans on masking. They were not intended to criminalize challenging or investigating election fraud. If anyone here is in disguise, it’s Jack Smith who is using a law designed to fight Democrats against Republicans.

Big time.
I would love to punch his face off but that’s illegal.

The lengths to which they go only proves their desperation from fear. ANYONE who causes this kind of reaction from Marxist liberals deserves our unwavering support. Period.
Kynarion Hellenis says
Yes, exactly. The enemy tells you whom he fears most. Trump was right when he said that he was not the target – the American people were. He was just “standing in the way.”
I love Trump, warts and all.

Biden is a criminal.

The Feds should be prosecuted under the same law that they are using to charge Trump. On Jan 6, the Feds went to the Capitol, in disguise, to deny the right of free expression.
Here is what the law says: “If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured – They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both….”
It fits.

That law describes Antifa perfectly.

Forget it, Jake. It’s Democrat-town.” The law means what they say it means, no more, no less.

Jeff Bargholz says
They want all us wage earners to be serfs, that’s for sure. They want employees, not citizens.

They want you all to watch South Park and take all the shots you have coming to you like a man and like what your doctor recommends. After that it really doesn’t matter what you think like it used to.

You know it, babe. They consider us human cattle and treat us as such. Things are as bad here as they are in the UK. It’s like we’re living in a bad Monty Python sketch.
I saw a light rail conductor wearing a mask yesterday. Sitting by himself in his little cockpit, or whatever it’s called. And the pharmacy in the supermarket offered “low cost” jabs.
Good God, these sheep are willing participants.

A monarchy?
Words are more than sounds.

It seems that Dems take things seriously and take them all the way.
Please excuse my crazed comments Daniel. I know that an a apology doesn’t fix anything.

Shit, I’m drinking right now and it’s only 6:50 PM, Pacific time.

I can’t wait to see this law applied to the dems, like antifa and jane’s revenge, who are actually violating it.
