The United Nations doesn’t like anyone, except its own bodyguards, carrying guns.
Volker Türk, an Austrian UN official, is particularly incensed at recent Israeli steps that will make it easier for civilians to be able to carry firearms in order to deter Islamic terrorists.
“We know from experience that the proliferation of firearms will lead to increased risks of killings and injuries of both Israelis and Palestinians,” Türk claimed.
There’s no shortage of weapons in the hands of terrorists. Many of those weapons were provided or funded by the international community in the name of peace.
Israeli civilians use firearms to defend themselves.
But Türk wouldn’t be the first Austrian to object to Jews carrying guns. Or living.
This is actually humorous, from my warped point of view. A backwards UN official talking down to the most advanced people in the world, telling them they aren’t responsible enough to have guns.
I think it is a good thing that UN members have armed guards. Think of the chaos there would be if UN members carried their own guns.

That murderer was acquitted of murdering Kahane and of attempted murder of another person.. Yet, a guilty verdict came in for assault and weapons possession. This “justice” took over a year. Jews carrying weapons for self-defense would not comport with this justice.
