While the video is about Israel, but overall the situation applies to most of the Western world. It’s just most clearly and most sharply defined when it comes to Israel.
The Islamic and leftist side plays the same game. It denies any guilt, projects all of it on us, screams as loudly as possible, lies constantly, exploits every misstep and invents plenty of its own.
The enemy and its collaborators are in full attack mode 24/7, crying victimhood and simultaneously celebrating their own atrocities.
Their goal is to always be on the offense.
Faced with this, the side of civilization all too often defaults to the defense. It explains, it clarifies and it tries to prove. And all of this is moot.
The enemy’s goal is not to win any particular argument. It constantly lies and rarely bothers to back up those lies, moving rapidly from one to the other, because its object is to shape the trajectory of the overall fight.
When Hamas and its supporters claim X and then Y amount of casualties dead, when they claim that Al-Shifa hospital was blown up by Israel, it’s because the tactic is to constantly hurl accusations in order to have the side of civilization debate them. Once that’s done, the debate is about how many civilians Israel has killed.
In all the months since Oct 7, too often the debate has been allowed to drift from the touchstones to countering enemy propaganda.
And that is ultimately a losing proposition.
Debate, like war, is ultimately won on the offense, not the defense. When you amplify the enemy’s message, even to counter it, you lose the long game.

When I was in high school, I had a chance to work with the best debating coach in the SF Bay Area. I chose the polar opposite, to focus on logic and math. Hard lessons followed 🙂

That guy is so ugly he looks inhuman. Subhuman doesn’t begin to describe him. Movie monsters are better looking. Even decomposing zombies aren’t as ugly. I can imagine the zombie croak coming out of his open mouth.

In this winning propaganda war of words, the “p” word must become obsolete and disappear from Israeli vocabulary. To say it, is to acknowledge its existence.
I have appreciated Mr. Greenfield‘s referring to the colonialist, invader terrorist residents of Gaza as Muslim Arabs. There is no other term for them. The same applies to the Muslim Arabs in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem. There is no “P”A. There’s a Muslim Arab Army.
Do not say ‘West Bank’ or ‘East Jerusalem’ or ‘settler’ or ‘disputed’.
Every time any of those propaganda words are spoken, terror gets a thumbs up.
The state of Israel has total and eternal sovereignty from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
No such thing as Israeli settlers. They are all Israeli citizens.
There are no settlements. There are villages, towns and cities.
Take note: Every letter of the word ‘Israel’ (pronounced ‘Yisrael’ in Hebrew) stands for the three forefathers and the four foremothers of the nation of Israel:

The language for which you advocate is crucial to the success of your desire for Israel. It should be REQUIRED because it alone accurately depicts the reality.
The Psuedostinian mutts aren’t even all Arabs. They’re a mongrel mix of Arabs, Druzes, Circassians and other under-achievers.
Israel refuses to even declare: ISRAEL is the country “From the River to the Sea” and JORDAN is the “palestinian” state. Apparently this is because the religious fanatics who rule (but refuse to fight) believe Israel will some day control all the land God promised in Genesis. By playing this game Israel will end up with terror states in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.
Uh, Israel already has de facto terrorist states in Gaza, Judea and Samaria.
And I agree that people who refuse to fight for their country if they’re able to don’t deserve to live in it.
The right answer is they are way more than us: billions of muslims, millions of lefties, millions of anti-semitic, and thousands of influencial jews who, ashamed to be jew, have become traitors: Spielberg, Chomsky, Richard Falk, Soros, Bernie Sanders, Norman Finkelstein, Jon Stewart, Jonathan Ofir, etc, etc, etc.
You’re grossly overstating their numbers and even their real numbers are vastly outnumbered by Christians and conservatives.
Donald Trump is the only one since Regan to successfully turn the conservative debate from defense to offense, And Trump has done this even more than Regan. Far more. This is why the effort to bring him down has become so extreme. Never have we seen such lies, such corruption of our government and such hysteria as we have in the last 8 years. Just when the anti conservative movement, at work since the late 60’s, was beginning to believe they had won the culture war along comes Trump. He is their worst nightmare. He is making a difference and they know it.
