What’s taking so long? Why hasn’t Israel moved into Gaza and begun to obliterate Hamas? The answer, I’m afraid, is drearily predictable.
The death toll for the Hamas jihad massacres in Israel has now climbed over 1,400, yet over two weeks after the Oct. 7 attacks that appalled the world, the promised Israeli ground offensive has not yet materialized. The reason for the delay can be summed up in what the man who claims to be president would say were two words, and those words are that same man’s name: Old Joe Biden.
The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that “U.S. and European governments have joined to put pressure on Israel to hold off on its ground invasion of Gaza to allow more time to win the release of hostages held by Hamas, U.S. and foreign officials said.” That pressure almost certainly originates from the Biden regime, which showed its hostility to Israel from the beginning by restoring aid to the Palestinians after Trump had stopped that aid in view of their continuing support for jihad terror, and which reaffirmed that hostility just days ago, when Old Joe went all the way to Israel to stab our most reliable Middle East ally in the back and announce that he was giving $100 million to Gaza, which means, despite his denials, $100 million to Hamas.
Meanwhile, the Journal adds that “several countries have been trying to leverage their contacts with Hamas to press the militant group to release the hostages taken during their onslaught on Israel earlier this month. One U.S. official had said that Qatar’s government had been very helpful on the matter, but noted the difficulties of reaching an agreement given Israel’s bombardment of Gaza and the spiraling humanitarian crisis there.”
Yeah, that may be gumming up the works. Another problem may be that Qatar is quite chummy with Hamas. On the day of the jihad massacres in Israel, Hamas leaders were videoed in a plush office in Qatar, watching news of the attacks and then getting down on their knees to give thanks to Allah for the wanton butchery of Israeli civilians. Qatar is a principal backer of the Muslim Brotherhood. In its charter, Hamas (which is an acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement) states: “The Islamic Resistance Movement is one of the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine.”
So how can Qatar be “very helpful” in getting Hamas to release the hostages? Only in ways that benefit Hamas and harm Israel. And one way to do that is for Qatari negotiators to drag their feet in carrying out negotiations over these hostages, giving Hamas time to prepare for an Israeli ground invasion. In making these preparations, they can likely use material that was delivered on the trucks full of “humanitarian aid” that Old Joe Biden strong-armed Benjamin Netanyahu into allowing through; Old Joe’s “humanitarian aid” to the Palestinians has been diverted to friends of terrorists before.
Every day the ground incursion is delayed, in fact, aids Hamas by giving it time to strengthen its defenses, set traps for Israeli soldiers, and stir up its populace with even more Jew-hatred and bloodlust than they get in ordinary times. At this point, it isn’t even completely certain that there will be any ground operation in Gaza at all, despite the fact that there can be no definitive end of Hamas without one, and so the bloody events of Oct. 7 will just be replayed on another day.
If, after all the delays, Israel does finally enter Gaza with ground troops, its operation will be hamstrung from the beginning. There will immediately be reports of civilian casualties. These reports don’t bother to inform the public that Hamas deliberately stages attacks from civilian areas in order to draw retaliatory fire it can use for propaganda purposes. Old Joe and his henchmen will immediately denounce Israel’s “disproportionate” response and call upon it to show “restraint,” while self-righteously reminding Netanyahu about “international law” that he is supposedly ignoring.
In reality, Israel has been called the most moral army in the world and takes immense care to avoid civilian casualties. Those casualties will come, however, if the Gaza ground operation ever does begin. Hamas will make sure of that. And then Israel will have to endure a chorus of international condemnation that may end up making it end operations short of its goal. That will mean the loss of more innocent lives in the future. But hey, endangering people and mortgaging their future — that’s what Old Joe Biden does.

Reading this article confirms my worst fears. However, a friend just linked me to a twitter video where Israeli soldiers killed 60 Hamas and rescued 250 hostages. I don’t know what to believe.
Cat says
Yes, I keep hearing that they are killing Hamas. but theres an estimated 30 to 40 thousand Hamas and they are underground. Both hezbollah and Hamas built extensive underground tunnels, worlds really, where they have headquarters….thats what I’m hearing.
i have not heard that the hostages were rescued except for the American mother daughter pair. . And the two 80 year old leftwing Israeli ladies-the one who shook Hamas guys hand on the way out to the Red Cross.
“Israel Breaking News” account on “X” or on Truth Social is my source. He us an IDF guy. Check him out.
Taylor says
Cat: www.israelnationalnews.com is the best source.
The two Israeli-American women weren’t rescued, they were released by Hamas, whose strategy is to release hostages in dribs and drabs in order to forestall an invasion in order to a. wear down the reserve army’s energy and morale; and b. run down the economy–350,000 reserves equals 20%–twenty percent–of the working age Jewish male population. The economy is losing about $4-5Billion/week while there reserves are mobilized; and, c. allow time for Araby’s foreign leftist supporters to grind down support for Israel in the international community.

Israel needs to decapitate the Iranian Mullah regime now.
Israel does not need to send 300,000 ground troops into Gaza and suffer losses there.
Just put and maintain an indefinite siege on Gaza …. nothing goes in and nothing comes out.
Eventually Hamas will be exterminated.
Jeff Bargholz says
Yes. Just bombard the pricks and deprive them of free utilities.
Those monkeys will resort to cannibalism within weeks. We need to just watch them die.
Jeff Bargholz says
You finally made a rational comment.
Hamas is definitely trying to stave off an invasion it can’t counter.
Scumbag pussies. I can’t wait until they take it up the ass.
Annie45 says
Cat – I too read that they are killing Hamas by firing at their
terrorist sites in Gaza and by use of the Israeli Air Force.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. General Herzi Halevi says the ground
force attack is being delayed due to tactical and strategic
considerations. He goes on to say the war is right on their
border, not thousands of miles away and that it is their
decision alone as to when to attack.

Jeff Bargholz says
Sounds smart to me.
The artillery offense is destroying Hamas redoudts all over Gazastan.
No need for ground troops of IDF so far.
Gerald Mucci says
…and it is very likely that nearly 100% of Gaza residents are pro-Hamas to some extent…so they are likely to join in the resistance against Israel as well. There is no such thing as “non-Hamas ‘citizens'” in Gaza.
Michael says
Gerald,
There is no such thing as “Hamas” citizens. For example, do we have “Cartel” citizens?
Elka Z says
Hamas is the elected government of Gaza. When news sources speak of the “Gaza Health Authority “ it IS Hamas. When they speak of a military force – it is Hamas. Hamas is the entire military and political entity in Gaza. They are in charge,!The residents most certainly ARE citizens of Hamas!
Michael says
I’m the elected authority of Michael. Under our Constitution, my comment is supported. Reinforcing, identifying, and saying something doesn’t make it so.

Hostages about which we know nothing: who are they, how many are they, where are they being held? The US has yet to release any information on Americans being held hostage.
Hostages or red herrings?
DeputyDawg says
I hope I’m wrong, but there is a good chance the hostages are dead, or at least most of them are. Bumbling Biden is not the reason the ground invasion hasn’t started. Israel is waiting for something. In any case, get ready for Armagedón.
victoryman says
Israel is losing the propaganda war. Also, this “Delay” gives Israel’s enemies time to regroup and rearm…….probably with our weapons left in Afghanistan. The longer Israel waits…..is inviting disaster. IMHO, there will be a ceasefire, which will further doom Israel.
Notice discussions of the six billion sent to Iran have suddenly stopped. Guaranteed Iran was
sent the money immediately and they aren’t using it to order pizza delivery. Iran will soon have
the bomb, and then…..?
LuzMaria Rodriguez says
American Special Forces couple with IDF Special Forces, reported to have entered to attempt rescues, took heavy losses and were forced to retreat, LD reported. This morning it was reported that Israel is holding off until the US gets more defensive equipment in place. If true, it may be a while before our bureaucrats in the Pentagon get coordinated. Too much has been given to Ukraine so stocks are down or some even empty.
All the result of our crack WH and Pentagon. Note in WW2, America reportedly had 7 4-star generals. Now we have a well paid bureaucracy with 44 4-star generals, and most of these “fighter generals” are woke at that. So if things get hot, a large gaggle of soft, fat desk generals are not likely to do well.
Taylor says
No, nothing of the sort. I’ve heard that urban myth peddled by know nothings for the last two weeks. There were about 250 raw recruits holed-up on an army base in the south the day the attack occured (yearly induction in Israel is in late August and you’re not trained well enough to fight for months). They locked themselves in a cafeteria until commandos showed up, cleared the base and sounded the all clear.
Sword of The Spirit says
The very day that babies were chopped up by Ham-ass, the moo slims in the white house threw a celebration party. Just a coincidence?
Onzeur Trante says
Netanyahu has swallowed the Biden poison pill. That’s what happened. Qatar is not exactly innocent, but Biden should be held accountable for Israel not doing what it needed to do several days ago. Of course the doddering Joe won’t be held accountable for anything. Just like he is not accountable for the open “border” in our own country which has in all likelihood allowed terrorists into our midst. The world is drowning in lunancy, the roots of which can be traced back to the White House.
Onzeur Trante says
Correction: lunacy*
Jeff Bargholz says
We know what you meant. Typos are no big deal.
Domenic Pepe says
The world has gone berserk.
The political and elite leadership of America has gone berserk.
Israel needs to decapitate the depraved psychopathic murderous Iranian Mullah leadership now.
Israel should not waste its military strength inside Gaza. Instead, maintain an indefinite siege on Gaza …
Nothing goes in ans nothing comes out. Eventually, Hamas will be finished, one way or another.
Jeff Bargholz says
Yeah, just ship Israeli raw sewage there. Let them eat shit.
Whirlwinder says
Blinken told Israel to open a corridor for “humanitarian aid” which means supplying Hamas with weapons and ammo, or America would not give them bunker busting bombs to get Hamas in their underground havens.
So, Israel cannot start their invasion until the Biden regime releases the bombs to Israel. The American people overwhelmingly support Israel, so Joebama is double crossing the American people as well as Israel.
RS says
Well millions surmised when Biden made a fast trip to Israel before a ground war that he was going to pressure Netanyahu to hold off….Nothing like letting Hamas regroup and create new strategies. The progressives definitely wanted Hamas and other Arabs to have work permits to work inside Gaza. Nothing like letting the enemy in, its the same for the United States.
Walter Sieruk says
The way to defeat that murderous jihad terror entity ,,Hamas , is by a use of a very strong force of the power of military might. For the sad and tragic reality is that this is the only language that the jihadist will understand, because they will not and cannot respond to reason and logic.
Therefore it’s necessary to hit Hamas hard, hit it long and keep on hitting it until it can’t raise up again.
For the government officials of the State of Israel would be very foolish to do what pseudo “president” Joe Biden and the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom wants them to do ,which is have “restraint” in fighting back against Hamas.
For it’s been wisely said the “Half measures in war is folly and madness.”
Kasandra says
I doubt that Israel cares a lot about European opinion but does care a lot about the views of the U.S. administration. The Biden administration, however, is being being run by a moron who does not want to be held in any way responsible if Israel invading Gaza results in Hezbollah getting more involved and bringing in Iran. That would me war between the U.S. and Iran and Biden is weak, irresolute and does not want to be in the WH if that happens. He wants to have it all ways – nice words, show of force, no provocative actions, no shooting and other nastiness. But you can’t always get what you want.

From any logical perspective..hundreds of years of consanguinity in this Gaza population and elsewhere..has led to a high percentage of mentally deficient ‘humans’…Hamas barbarism cannot be explained by hatred alone…but these same types are highly superstitious as well…they believe in Jinns etc…as per the Koran..use the strategy of the Kurds…who were the most successful military force combatting ISIS a few years back…platoons of female combat soldiers terrorised and spooked the ISIS thugs…they believed…like all Islamist thugs…that if you are killed in battle by a woman you cannot become a Shahid…and cannot go to heaven …and have the 72 virgins…as per the Koran…this is not a small thing…use their ignorance…superstition…and limited mental powers…against the bastards…

When the Israeli military goes in, the first thing they should do is arrest and confine all MSM reporters (or drop them down the into the tunnels so they can personally interview those sadistic killers), you know, one on one with NO cameras rolling.
