The harassment of Senator Sinema is a campaign funded by major leftist foundations and billionaires, a fact that will appear in my upcoming article, but that the media will never report. The normalization of political harassment is very much a media project which gins up rage and then not just ignores it, but editorializes in its defense. The contrast between the treatment of anti-critical race theory or anti-mask activists in schools, now the subject of FBI intimidation, and the Black Lives Matter rioters where the media fumes at “racial justice protests” being the object of law enforcement surveillance is more than a double standard.
Media liberals like to huff and puff about political; norms. You can have political norms or political terror. Not both.
The premise of political norms is centrist. The idea is that you have a stable system based on compromise, check and balances, and power sharing arrangements.
Political terror is based on a total seizure of power by any means, followed by purges and repression of opponents.
Never Trump conservatives and some sideline liberals treat this as a conspiracy theory. It’s not. The weaponization of rage is not just an artifact of social media echo chambers, it’s a strategy. A calculated strategy being wielded by the same foundations whining that Facebook amplifies right-wing echo chambers and rage.
To disavow political norms is to embrace political terror. That’s what we’re seeing. It’s a vision of a state with one party, one ideology, and one policy machine.
Ask any leftist if they’re really willing to share power, to trade and off in elections with people they disagree with, or just visit California for a vision of the future.
