The video appears to date back to somewhere around 2005 to 2008. I was one of many who uploaded it back then to commemorate the Israeli children murdered by Islamic terrorists during a particular period of years. You can still find it as a slideshow, and as a webpage. (You can also see the video on DailyMotion.)
Since then many more children have been killed by Islamic terrorists. And I hadn’t referred to the video in a while.
Then suddenly I find this notice from YouTube in my email.
Your video has been removed from YouTube
As you may know, our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video ”Over 100 Children Murdered by Palestinian Terrorists” was flagged for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines. We’ve removed it from YouTube and assigned a Community Guidelines strike, or temporary penalty, to your account.
Video content restrictions
We encourage free speech and defend everyone’s right to express their points of view, even if unpopular. However, YouTube doesn’t allow hate speech. Sometimes there’s a fine line between what is and isn’t considered hate speech. If you’re not sure whether or not your content crosses the line, we ask that you don’t post it.
Typical of social media censorship, there are no details. There’s no explanation of how a video listing children murdered by terrorists is a form of hate speech.
While a video mourning 123 children killed by Islamic terrorists is unacceptable on YouTube, Louis Farrakhan’s ravings on the Nation of Islam channel are still up. Plenty of the content there is anti-Semitic. But Louis Farrakhan is a patron saint of the Women’s March. And continues to have the backing of the left.
Meanwhile typing “Jews” into YouTube turns up a video by Vice, promoting an anti-Israel hate group, as the first result, then shortly afterward, two propaganda videos by Russia’s RT attacking Israel and promoting Iran. Also in the mix, in the top 20, is an Al Jazeera video attacking Israel, more anti-Semitic RT spam, and various attacks on Jews and Israel from assorted sources. My algorithmic results may not be universal, but of the top 20 videos, only one was from a Jewish source, half were critical of Jews or Israel. You have to go 27 videos down to find anything from a mainstream Jewish source.
Meanwhile a video commemorating Jewish children murdered by Islamic terrorist becomes another casualty of the social media purge.
