Bail is supposed to make the release of criminals conditional on their behavior by putting some financial skin in the game. But pro-crime leftists figured out two ways to subvert bail.
Some states and cities, like New York, outright eliminated bail and criminals were out committing more crimes almost as soon as they were arrested, and where that wasn’t directly possible, ‘bail funds’ were set up to free all the criminals. Bail funds gained notoriety when Kamala Harris promoted one during the BLM riots with the aim of springing more rioters. But the bail fund that Kamala donated to actually sprang violent criminals and led to a murder.
Freedom Center Investigates previously discussed the death toll of the bail funds.
In St. Louis, the Bail Project bailed out a man after he beat his wife. That night, he beat her again resulting in “a broken eye socket, several broken ribs, and (bruises) from head to toe.”
She died.
In Indianapolis, the Bail Project freed Marcus Garvin after he was arrested for stabbing a man. Garvin then stabbed Christie Holt and left her body to rot in a motel for a week before trying to dismember her. It freed Deonta Williams who then stabbed two cops in an ambush.
The Bail Project freed a thug who was facing drug and burglary charges. Lang then shot and killed Dylan McGinnis. Nikki Sterling, Dylan’s mother has become a crusader against bail funds, warning that, “This organization is bailing out violent offenders. These are not your misdemeanor charges. We are putting violent criminals back out on the street.”
One of the worst bail fund murder sprees came out of Texas.
A man charged with capital murder following a series of attacks that left six people dead in Bexar County and Austin on Tuesday was bonded out of the Bexar County Jail by a Texas organization nearly two years ago.
Bexar County booking records obtained by KSAT show Shane James, 34, was bonded out in early 2022 by Laquita Garcia, who is statewide policy coordinator for the Texas Organizing Project (TOP), an area group that advocates for bail reform.
Sources told KSAT that James had three pending cases in Bexar County for misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury-family.
The TOP is a big part of the Texas Dem political machine.
it also has its own PAC which boasts of running the “largest, independent Get-out-the-Vote political field programs in Texas”
It claims that, “in 2018, we ran our largest program to date, reaching out to more than 900,000 voters in four counties (Harris, Dallas, Bexar, and Fort Bend) and turning out 465,405 voters, of which 270,474 were new midterm voters.”
Now, Gov. Abbott signed a bill into law banning public money from going to bail funds. That obviously touches on the current Los Angeles riots which have spread to Texas, but was motivated by the murders caused by state bail funds. And cuts off money to TOP.
But it’s only a start.
Taxpayer money obviously should not be directly funding riots and crime, but bail funds themselves are illegal and should be banned.
IRS regulations are the best vehicle for doing so as the David Horowitz Freedom Center has argued for years.
Excellent coverage and analysis. The bail situation is very disturbing.
They don’t have bail in Douglas County Nebraska, where Omahell is located. They just throw people (men only) in jail until their court dates four months later.
My ex wife threw me in jail every time a wind blew a wild hair up her ass. I never committed a crime but all a bitch has to do there is call the cops and say “come arrest so and so”……and they will. White Knight pussies from Hell. It’s the most corrupt place I’ve ever “lived” in, and I’ve lived in Indonesia, Singapore and Mexico. “Disorderly conduct.” That’s what I was charged with each time because no real crime was committed. I beat each charge but they kept me in jail for months on end in attempts to break my will.
When I was “arraigned” one time there was some black bitch in court for stabbing her man. It was her third stabbing. The judge let her walk but locked me up, a middle manager at Mutual of Omaha with no criminal record. $25,000 bail for the attempted murderess but $30,000 for me, the guy who dared to argue with his wife.
Don’t ever go to Omahell. And I will NEVER get married again. Guys and chicks who marry young seem to have happy marriages but I sure didn’t. Never get married at age 40!
RICO law has been used to deprive those charged of funds for attorneys’ fees. That law can be used against organized rioters regarded as agents, especially when they are paid by organizers, of those organizing and equipping them.
This is the best news of the day.
It is both righteous aNd creative; it puts the bail fund issue front and center.
The black anti-Semite who shot Louisville’s Jewish (then) mayoral candidate (since elected) was immediately bailed out by community activists, and welcomed home with cheering; he almost bagged a Jew!
The particular Jew is waaay too liberal to ever mention the episode which almost murdered him, and the phrase “hate crime” has never passed his lip.
FUCK bail funds▪️
No Bail for Rioters lock them all up and throw away the key and give them 30 Years in Prison Texas makes the Right Decisions
