When Kamala Harris picked Gov. Tim Walz as her VP pick, the media hyped his supposed Holocaust education background. We never actually did see a copy of Walz’s supposed thesis, but its thrust appeared to be an effort to decontextualize and universalize the Holocaust by removing its Jewish context and focusing on global human rights abuses.
Now Walz demonstrated what that looks like at the University of Minnesota’s law school commencement, declaring that ICE is the “modern day gestapo”.
Tim Walz calls ICE agents modern day “Gestapo.” The Gestapo were the Nazi secret policy.
Walz should either read a book on the Gestapo or shut his mouth and stop trivializing the Holocaust to score cheap political points.

Comparing ICE to the Nazis is despicable behavior. It’s unpatriotic and unamerican, and it’s also a despicable trivialization of the Holocaust to compare deporting illegal aliens to the mass murder of millions of Jews. After this, there should be no further mentions of Walz’s Holocaust education work.
Walz: How do I infer that the Trump administration is NAZI/Hitler without saying NAZI/Hitler? I, know, I’ll call them Gestapo and I’ll add ‘modern day’ so I can say it is not a reference to NAZI/Hitler from the past. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
Especially given some of the FBI tactics during the Sleazy Joe junta, that’s just a tad hypocritical.
But given that if the leftards didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all, and that their leadership are demonstrably both stupid and psychotic, it’s not all that shocking.
Which is a real worry when you think about it.
On the other hand, the FBI was legitimately compared to the Stasi during the Biden regime for the terror tactics it used against those who objected to the theft of the 2020 presidential election.
“Comparing ICE to the Nazis is despicable behavior.”
Definitely, but it seems to be de rigueur behavior for a party that is busy committing political suicide.
What really impresses me is Tampon Tim calling ICE the “modern day gestapo”. Now that’s what I call the product of a deep thinker. Timmy you look so impressive in that black dress with the purple stripes and black cap.
Considering that every other disparaging remark about Trump had to include some version of “He’s just like Hitler!”. Because it was just so convincing and effective at garnering votes.
Wait, you mean it wasn’t? And it’s not a dress? It’s a grad ceremony gown? I think a little dress would have been more appropriate for our self-proclaimed knucklehead guv.
Is it as deep thinking as your suggestion the Pope put together an army to fight the Muslims? Any idea what the Pope will be paying? Will he be offering a defined benefit or defined contribution retirement plan? Vacation time?
Got the gay joke in again. Oh to be back in 7th grade again….
The dictionary defines an anarchist as:
“a person who seeks to overturn by violence all constituted forms and institutions of society and government, with no purpose of establishing any other system of order in the place of that destroyed.”
Succinctly stated, Tim Walz is an anarchist. Someone needs to point that out and frame his ridiculous utterances with that word. Anything less is just nuanced sophistry, timidity and equivocation:
Again, Tim Walz is an anarchist. It’s no more complicated than that.
This guy is still campaigning. You lost jackass. Your 15 minutes of fame has past.
As someone who comes from a family line of card and dice players, I’d keep a poker face and let it go. Playing the Nazi card is always a reliable tell that you’re dealing with the sucker at table. If I were a politician, I’d let him play out his losing hand, then take him in the shorts.
Herr Walz is the lying Nazi.
It’s easy to picture him in an SS uniform….
Total dufus when walz was thrust onto the scene. What is wrong with Minnesota voters is what’s wrong with California voters – they like to vote for POS
