Most people have stopped paying attention to bail funds aside from the time that Kamala Harris tweeted support for the Minnesota Freedom Fund during the BLM race riots.

While MFF’s policy of bailing out arrested criminals has proven fatal, it’s not the only bail fund with lethal consequences. The Seattle and Portland bail funds have had their own death toll.

Including the first murder of 2023 in Seattle.

The man in custody for Seattle’s first homicide of 2023 has previously been bailed out of jail by a nonprofit with a track record of assisting violent, repeat offenders.

On Wednesday a judge found probable cause to hold Allister Baldwin in jail for the grisly murder of Ivette Wallin, who lived at the Canaday House in South Lake Union. Police found a bloody knife and drug paraphernalia at the crime scene, according to court documents, and the victim had “signs of physical trauma and significant bleeding” from her neck and shoulder area.

Baldwin and the victim knew each other, and police characterized it as a domestic violence incident…

Baldwin, 46, was previously arrested in 2020 in a domestic violence incident involving another woman. The Northwest Community Bail Fund posted cash bail to help him go free until the trial began.

There have been a number of cases of bail funds freeing domestic abusers only for it to end in violence and even murder. And, each time, the bail fund claims that it could never have seen this coming.

This time around the monster freed by the Northwest Community Bail Fund had allegedly been “convicted of sexual assault of a child in Texas.”

But pro-crime lefties love monsters like this. And they’ll go on fighting for him if he ever ends up on death row.

The 51-year-old woman was cold to the touch and was heavily bleeding from multiple wounds on her neck, face and shoulder area, according to court documents.

“Due to the amount of blood covering the victim, it was difficult to determine the extent of the injuries to [the victim] while her body was still at the scene,” documents said.

Documents say Baldwin was only wearing pants, and the victim was found naked from the waist down on a bed. Police say Baldwin is a convicted sex offender out of Texas and preliminary investigation indicates a possible sexual motivation.

According to court documents, she “suffered an extreme amount of physical trauma.” The victim had both sharp and blunt-force injuries and had multiple broken bones, including ribs and fingers. She had multiple sharpe-force wounds to her neck and back and had wounds that punctured areas of both her rib cage and her neck, court documents say.

Baldwin is being held in the King County Jail without bail.

“The defendant’s history of sexual assault and the nature of his actions in this case demonstrate that he is likely to continue to commit acts of violence and, as a result, he is a danger to the community,” prosecutors said in court documents.

No bailing him out this time. But it’s also too late. And this isn’t the first rodeo for the pro-crime group.

“In May, police said Kylan Houle broke into a Skyway home and shot the father of four who lived there. Months before the alleged murder, the fund put up bail for Houle’s release on two pending felony gun charges.

Last June, Michael Sedejo was charged with stabbing a man to death at City Hall Park. A month before the deadly crime, Sedejo was in jail and charged with assault and robbery until the Northwest”

That’s three dead. How many bodies will it take until the bail funds get shut down?

Reducing harm begins with closing down bail funds.
